Nice work Clement and all, I'll make sure and check it out and see whether I 
can integrate my code with fgcom in the future.
Meantime, just to keep you on your toes, there's another promising related 
project, albeit with no code yet, but could do very well if maintained 
properly: FGspeak, look for it on Gitorious and check out the README.
Since last time I looked at FGcom I had some headaches trying to sort out how 
to implement a hook for my radio routines, I may focus on Fgspeak as well, if 
it's development has a good pace.

Hi Thorsten,

I'm looking forward to that all working seamlessly.  I'm courting a
possible project where I'd need to visualize landing a helicopter on a
destroyer in heavy sea state, so having pretty clouds combined with all the
bells and whistles for the ocean environment (waves, foam, glint, wake,
etc.) would be pretty spiffy.  I still might be out of luck because we
might want to run with shadows on since that is such a valuable depth cue
in judging height above a surface

But any step towards everything working with everything is a good deal. :-)

The registration I would let out, until flightgear has no unique user id it 
makes no sense to me.
I miss a restart button when fgcom is chopping.
And a string "EDDP APP 119.7" to see on what channel fgcom is tuned.

Can you tell me what to do to upgrade the server ? Is it still working with 
the stable fg version ? 
I will do so.

I'm a little worried about the bandwidth on my server.
ATM the month average bandwidth of fgcom is 124535,378 MB, that is far enough 
for me. 
I can not support fgcom if my customer services get impaired. 
My fgcom capacities are nearly at 80%.

in my eyes 
- increasing the communication range will race bandwidth
- activating com2 will race bandwidth
- bringing fgcom nearer to the user (fg integration). What is the goal ! every 
aircraft should communicate via fgcom. But Will race bandwidth.

Sooner or later I must close my fgcom server. If we don't share/split the 
bandwidth with other servers.

Given that Innis has given the all-clear, what is the next step? I'm happy to 
simply checkout a particular branch from the repo above and commit the files to 
fgdata, but there are other options.
