Have you pulled latest simgear? I had adapted the event manager to allow
tasks to remove themselves.

This commit is buggy too :->

Okay, I'll be nice and provide a hint: It is not safe to call
removeTask from the timer event itself.

[Flightgear-devel] screen shots with OSG multi-threading

2011-05-28 Thread ThorstenB
Hi,
another heads up: I've pushed a patch fixing screen shot issues in OSG
multi-threading modes (see in preferences.xml).
Please test this on your machines, with your favourite OSG threading
mode. As usual, report any issues - here or there:
http://code.google.com/p/flightgear-bugs/issues/detail?id=127

Oh, and a _complete_ update is required: pull/rebuild simgear +
flightgear + fgdata. Just sayin' it...

cheers,
Thorsten

Yes the Aircrafts are hosted here,

http://pagesperso-orange.fr/GRTux/tux/index-en.html

Unfortunately these are mainly dedicated to FG1.0 stable

Some of them are within CVS more or less updated according to the last CVS FG
with the new JSBSim (i am working on it)

Into CVS you may find the data/Aircraft directory

PBY-Catalina
SR71-BlackBird
Noratlas
P-38-Lightning

I will look for better snapshots which could be sized vertically

Cheers

Thanks! These are great. I guess I've got the wrong F-4U picture in there,
now. I didn't know the P-38 was yours. Do you have your aircraft models
hosted somewhere?

Thanks to others who posted images, too. I'm particularly looking for a more
"vertically" oriented image, since the page the pictures appear on is in
portrait orientation. You can see what I'm using so far in the just-now
uploaded copy of the updated JSBSim Reference Manual. Go to www.jsbsim.org
and click on the Documentation link.

I'll probably be updating the manual with pictures posted here sometime in
the future.

Gerard, if there's a way you could duplicate that P-38 picture that's at the
FlightGear web site, but with the aircraft rolled over more so it fits
better in portrait orientation, that would be cool.

And Again

Two others

The F4U-7 specific french Corsair (dubbed for french only) , which is not in

And The OLD model F-8E Crusader French version, which should come later on in
CVS (it need a full update according to the last JSBSim version)

Hi,

I have some airship and balloon screen shots (of varying quality) here:

http://www.gidenstam.org/FlightGear/.images/Airships/
http://www.gidenstam.org/FlightGear/.images/ballooning/

This one is pretty nice (IMHO :)

I've put a few screenshots of the F-16 over here:
http://home.telfort.nl/sp004798/fgfs/

If there is one suitable for the FlightGear front page then you can add
it there also if you like.

[Flightgear-devel] Screen shots

2008-08-08 Thread Jon S. Berndt
I'm looking for a few high quality (fairly large) screen shots of JSBSim
aircraft models in FlightGear. Can anyone point me to some? I want to use
them as background illustrations in the JSBSim manual now being drafted.

Thanks,

Jon
