Just send the announcement (Curt will put it online when the major issues with Mac packages are fixed, which they currently are AFAIK) to as many sites/magazins as you can think of :-) We've put translations of the intro into several languages on the wiki (see http://wiki.flightgear.org/Changelog_2.6.0). Everyone can send that intro with a link to the official announcement+changelog to local websites. But yeah, we'll have to wait for the announcement to be put online. Fantastic work everyone! Has the official release announcement / change log been published yet? I can't see it on the main website. Curt and I are being interviewed for the FSBreak podcast next weekend, and I'd like to point them at the change log beforehand so they have the chance to try it out. It would also be very useful for marketing elsewhere. On a related note, is there a plan in place for announcing 2.6.0 to the wider flight simulator community? If not, I'm happy to send an announcement to the following sites, but it won't be until late on Monday: The Flight Simulator Network (www.flightsimulatornetwork.com) AVSim online (www.avsim.com) flightsim.com (www.flightsim.com) (I suspect this is already under control, so apologies in advance for the noise) -Stuart -- Virtualization & Cloud Management Using Capacity Planning Cloud computing makes use of virtualization - but cloud computing also focuses on allowing computing to be delivered as a service. http://www.accelacomm.com/jaw/sfnl/114/51521223/ ___ Flightgear-devel mailing list Flightgear-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/flightgear-devel
