The nice thing about it is that you can turn the pages
as if it was some kind of a book that ten people had
contributed pages too. Having it on a website would
just be silly. I might as well have a blog called
FLOSS and everybody would send images or writing to it
and I could upload it for all the world and his dog to
see. hey that's not a bad idea! Certainly be cheaper
than sending out 9 hefty packages of papier to folk
on the four corns of the urf. I might consider it if
no more pages arrive within the next week or so. and
then i might just doa blog about the 25 years of
mouldy mail art being eaten by mice in m y coal shed?

IF(interactive fiction).

didn't i send you your disc with the IF stuff on it?
if not, then it will go out post haste, along with the

i think the new incarnation of Hitchiker's from the site
is pretty cool in the fact that it is a good sort of
comfortable. all rounded and such. easy on the eyes.
the pictures in my head when i went through the original
were of course more real looking than the Flash stuff.
i also believe that this is a great way to resurrect the
other Infocom stuff. all online and comfy.
i am planning on sending in a room visual, done in the
style you first see on the site. i think that entries
should be kept in this vein.

addition!
None other than Georg Birkner (for 'tis that very man) has sent in a little
something to the FFFO offices. We examined it closely and decided to put an
image that Georg sent up instead!
With great pleasure and grovelling apologies to Georg for the lateness (but
we'll send you a CD of screaming baby noises and a dirty nappy to be looked
at every 3 hours by way of explanation!)

GO TO

look for the Great Georg's name, click and admire his work, then send him an
email asking where the final 'e' is!

It was since I was 12 my dearest vice and companion, when broke I rolled
Bugler out of can, Canada was a good place to live in part because you could
get Sweet Caporal tobacco in a tin, but when I was pregnant the first time
at 33 or so cigarettes made me puke, and so I quit. And as it's not quite
fair to smoke with children in the house (though my mother smoked), I didn't
start again. That was 15 years ago and I still miss it, daily. I think when
I'm 70 I'll take it up again. Nothing to lose, you know.
