Re: [Framers] Unusual C-Acute Accent
ć is Unicode U+0107, so the keyboard shortcut should be Alt-0107. Linotype shows their Neue Helvetica having that glyph, but there's no "Std" weight. I don't think any font has "all the characters and glyphs that exist." The old quick reference cards are from pre-Unicode versions. Through FM7 it used its own proprietary character sets. ___ This message is from the Framers mailing list Send messages to framers@lists.frameusers.com Visit the list's homepage at http://www.frameusers.com Archives located at http://www.mail-archive.com/framers%40lists.frameusers.com/ Subscribe and unsubscribe at http://lists.frameusers.com/listinfo.cgi/framers-frameusers.com Send administrative questions to listad...@frameusers.com
Re: [Framers] Unusual C-Acute Accent
Hi Karen, I can only confirm what Tino said: ć is not part of HelveticaNeueLTStd. Check for example here to see the available characters in this font: https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/adobe/helvetica-neue/ The Windows character palette shows also characters which are _not_ in a particular font. Use another tool like the free font browser BabelMap. It also has some font analysis tools which show all available characters of a certain font. I just saw that the developers of BabelMap do not provide a download until Unicode 9 is out. http://www.babelstone.co.uk/Software/BabelMap.html However, if you search for BabelMap you will find other sites from which you can download it. Hi Tino, Hm, that's interesting. On the Mac side, it does contain all the glyphs. And in the FM Character Palette, it looks like they are there as well (definitely NOT there for the basic Helvetica, in contrast). I'll look into another (Pro) version for the PC side. Would be a help with Greek characters, too--I already had to add a special font for those. Thanks! --Karen At 2:55 AM +0200 6/23/16, Tino H.
