Re: [Frameworks] encoding dolby SR/D to print on 35mm film
Thanks Scott, but here the problem seems to be requested format , rather than mixing/adapting the sound mix. The Lab asked for sound already encoded as dolby SR/d. Getting an AC3 format would not be a problem at all. What we don't understand is whether this is a real issue or just the Lab operator being a bit lazy :) Hope the question is clearer now Thanks again Franco Il lun 1 lug 2019, 23:32 Scott Dorsey ha scritto: > It's not THAT unusual to provide mono digital soundtracks, with audio all > coming from the center channel. [Frameworks] encoding dolby SR/D to print on 35mm film
Hi all, a member of Unzalab have to print mono sound recorded from zoom on a 35mm print. Movie and Sound Lab from Florence can print on 35 mm but they ask for encoding dolby sr/d mix 5.1. Re: [Frameworks] flickering
Thanks. First I'll try to shoot at 6 fps. It Seems more simple solution. John if you remember the filmaker name, write me please. Thanks f. 2012/12/3 John Woods jawood...@yahoo.ca Try projecting at a slower frame rate, there are many variable speed super 8 projectors that could project at rates like 12, 9 or 6 fps. Your camera also might be able to shoot at a rate that could match the slower projector speed. IIRC there was a British filmmaker whose name escapes me, active in the 70s and 80s, who shot and projected his films at 6 fps. You could also try modifying the shutter blade on the projector. Its not my area of expertise but I think that if you had fewer shutter blades that you would get more flicker. ___ FrameWorks mailing list FrameWorks@jonasmekasfilms.com https://mailman-mail5.webfaction.com/listinfo/frameworks ___ FrameWorks mailing list FrameWorks@jonasmekasfilms.com https://mailman-mail5.webfaction.com/listinfo/frameworks

Re: [Frameworks] Eclair NPR
more or less how much is Eclair Npr whit accesories? Honest price 2012/3/2 william santen williamsan...@gmail.com Cancel Cancel! There was a guy in Los Angeles who repairs motors.. Duall claims to repair but they actually just steal your money. I spent a year and $1200 trying to get the motor repaired/ writing to forums etc., shipping the camera to Los Angeles, working with Duall in NYC.. In the end, I ended up with a stolen motor (so I was told) that squeaked and a worthless camera. When Eclair NPR camera were built, they did not release the specs for the motor or circuitry board. There are people who can cobble them together- but after a year, I was unable to locate an honest mechanic. It is a shame- the cameras are affordable and quite nice (when they work).
