Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 23 bytes)
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/ports/graphics/pear-Image_Canvas.
*** Error code 1

Has anyone seen this?  Know how to fix it?

Checkup if the process gets a proper php.ini. Yesterday I've got a
similar error, renamed old php.ini and copied php.ini-dist to
php.ini. Then my (re)install was a success.
