What's the easiest way to clear out all of the /compat/linux stuff and start all over again? There are some tools in the ports tree that can be used for this. Two of them are sysutils/portmanager and sysutils/portupgrade. You can choose your favourite one based on your own experience and research. Quick examples for your issue: 1. portmanager portmanager x11-toolkits/linux-gtk2 -l or 2. portupgrade -Rv linux-gtk2 In both cases you'd better have an up-to-date ports tree. -- Adi Pircalabu (PGP Key ID 0x04329F5E) -- This message was scanned for spam and viruses by BitDefender. I'm not sure if there used to be such a file named as above, or this is just a type or oversight from the port maintainer... As a quick fix, try downloading the available gtk2, rename it and put it in /usr/ports/distfiles (you may even have to disable CHECKSUM as it might not match). -- Riemer PalstraAmsterdam, The Netherlands [EMAIL PROTECTED]http://www.palstra.com/ ___ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
