Re: [Freesurfer] Hippocampus Doubt

2012-07-12 Thread Bruce Fischl
Hi Gabriel,

certainly they won't match as (a) they are different algorithms, and (b)
they are different definitions of what is and is not included. Did you
sum up things like fimbria and fornix in your subfield totals?

cheers
Bruce

Thanks BruceYes and no, we did sum all the outputs from the subfields segmentation, but I didnot find the fornix, Is it included I. The fimbria? What would be the difference if I do not include this label? And what do you mean with "different definitions of  what's and is not included"?Regards,GabrielEl 12/07/12, Bruce Fischl escribió:Hi Gabriel, certainly they won't match as (a) they are different algorithms, and (b) they are different definitions of what is and is not included. Re: [Freesurfer] Hippocampus Doubt

2012-07-13 Thread Bruce Fischl

Hi Gabriel,

I mean that the two segmentations may use different definitions of what is
hippocampus (e.g. is Fornix part of it?).

cheers
Bruce
