Ok, as soon as I have solved this, I will post it here. At the moment, this is not first priority for me. My box stops the nxtvepg daemon right before recording something and restarts it afterwards. The only problem is watching TV, for which I prefer to use my TV set directly. (Perhaps this will change...) [Freevo-users] Probs integrating XML TV
Hi, I have a problem integrating xmltv listings into freevo... My /tmp/TV.xml looks like this... RTL . Nachtjournal Mit Susanne Kronzucker In my local_conf I have tried these variants for TV_CHANNELS: ('3', 'RTL.tvtoday.de', 'SE15') ('3', 'RTL', 'SE15') ('RTL.tvtoday.de', 'RTL', 'SE15') Now I want to watch TV - I see the channels from TV_CHANNELS in my list and can view them, but there is no programm data for these channels... Another strange thing: in the uper left corner of the channel schedule the date of "27. Jan" is displayed, but under the schedule there is "1-Jan 0:00 - 4:41", my system date is correct, so what Im doing wrong ?? [Freevo-users] snapshot problems
The first problem I am having its when i play mp3s the id3 information is not being displayed. Any mp3 that was ripped using freevo will display the id3 information but any other mp3 will just display the file name. The second problem is there is an option to randomly play all items but when i select it freevo just crashes. When i run ./freevo cache it says that Python sqlite is not installed. I have installed sqlite and pysqlite and it still says that. Is there any command that i need to add to the local_conf.py? hi without vps its pretty impossible to find an exact begintime because of commercials etc and it really sux if the end of a movie is missing. is there a setting to configure the recordserver to start recording (for ex) 10 minutes earlier than the actual begin time from xmltv is? The image quality at the same bitrate isn't usually quite as good, but on the other hand you ought to be able to get smooth video on a lower-end machine. Alternately, have you considered one of the WinPVR cards? Those do the encoding for you, so you just need to move data around.
