Re: [Freevo-users] Re: Passing mplayer-options through an fxd-file

2004-04-10 Thread Thomas Kranz
Ok, just looking for help in the list and didn't find any I created a mplayer option
for my movie on my own.
I get it to work with a movie file, maybe this helps also for streams. I'm also
interested in importing some internet live video
streams. So I used the option in the fxd file as described on the wiki
website.

  test.mpg

Don't use special characters directly in the fxd files and read the freevo main log
files for errors.
I noticed that it doesn't work with german umlauts.

[Freevo-users] Recording Issues

2004-04-10 Thread Lists
I am running the newest version of freevo from the website install script.
(its not 5)

I run a ./freevo recordserver

I tell freevo to record something, if I look on the web interface, it says
it is recording. however NO file is created.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Mike

[Freevo-users] Live Streams

2004-04-10 Thread Johan Celén

Heya!

Experiencing some problems with getting a live
stream to work.
The stream is in wmv9, and yes, i have the codecs
installed in mplayer ;).
I'm using the example fxd with german
news.
I get it to start caching, but it just caches for
1-3%, then it stops.

My fxd is as follows (the interesting part,
anyway):

mms://195.54.106.148/dc2pub?yaddayaddapassword...
mplayer

Tried to change cache settings with
 and (dont know wich one
applies?)
But whatever I do, I just get the same
result.

I'm using freevo 1.5.0-pre and mplayer
1.0pre3try2.

Anyone using live streams with freevo, and might be
able to help me out?

Regards
Johan
