Actualy it ran quite nicely apart from some trouble I got with the
recordserver due to kaa trouble.
Apart from that, 1.8 doesn't improve cpu calls, it's still ~205.

b.t.w. John is right; You are doing a great job with freevo (and lets
not forget everyone else who contributed)
I'am using freevo now for several years and also played with the
competition but no other media system can beat freevo!

[Freevo-users] 1.7.4 in apt-repository?

2007-11-24 Thread Hannes Holm Ovrén
Hi!

I just wondered when Freevo 1.7.4 will be available through the
apt-repository at http://debian.geole.info/.
1.7.4 seem to adress a lot of the things I currently miss, but I'd
like to avoid having to compile it myself if possible :)

Thanks for all your good work though :)

/Hannes

I'm trying to update freevused plugin based on the upsoon changes
but I don't understand what to do. I suppose I have to change the poll
and eventhandler methods with the kaa.notifier Timer register method
but I have two problems.

It seems, based on the documentation, that Timer supports a resolution
of seconds. It could be enough but it seems too much for input handling.

The other problem is that in eventhandler I use a third parameter named
menuw to know if I am in the menu or playing an item. ¿How can I handle
this parameter with the new API?
