Re: [Freevo-users] EXIF image rotation in Photoviewer
The sample images attached to the bug I posted on the bug tracker. However I just got a message explaining that the current Freevo version displays the sample images correctly. ps: It's there a package archive for Ubuntu that contains the current Freevo release? Dirk Meyer schreef: Erik Happaerts wrote: Only the pictures that need to be rotated are rotated wrongly (so only the portrait once). The pictures contain the correct EXIF info. The problem lies within the full screen display mode of Freevo. This mode uses the EXIF data in the wrong way and rotates in the opposite direction Can you send me such a picture in a private mail please? Maybe it is a bug in kaa.metadata. [Freevo-users] Dual recording Tuners
Hi Folks! Happy New Year to all those who just celebrated New Year by their calendar! Best wishes for a happy and prosperous 2008. I just stuffed a second IVTV card into my Freevo recording server. I tried configuring both as being record-able, and tried recording two shows simultaneously via the web interface. The second killed off the first, confirming what I read on the doc site; one is watchable, while the other is record-able. Out of curiosity... Any idea when dual (or multiple) recording will make it into the 1.x series (I read the change logs for 1.8rc1). Or will it only remain a feature of the 2.x series? Thanks and have a great year! /Mike Looking for a X-Mas gift? Everybody needs a Flickr Pro Account. http://www.flickr.com/gift/ - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges. Re: [Freevo-users] TV listings gone (Your listings expire in 0 hours.)
Ah, Radio times site seems to lack any data after midnight, no 2008 details in the XML yet. If you are using DVB then you can get them from dvb using this program (spend a while searching): http://www.darkskiez.co.uk/index.php?page=tv_grab_dvb I got the svn 0.10 version which seems to work well, I used the following command to get an XML file that freevo was happy with: /tv_grab_dvb -c -o 0 -f /tmp/TV.xml With 0.9 and different command options it didn't seem happy. You will need to copy channels.conf into the same directory as you have built tv_grab_dvb in, and you will need to populate chanidents with a list of conversions from the channel id's in DVB to the normal "url" style names that the radio times uses or it won't work :). My list is attached, but might not work for you depending on the TV region you are in: Hope this helps, at some point hopefully RT will fix the xml and it will work again :) Simon Detheridge wrote: Hi, Maybe something to do with change of year (?) ... I have the same problem and ran xmltv manually which created what seems to be a valid /tmp/TV.xml file but freevo still doesn't show any guide even after removing /var/cache/freevo/TV.xml & /var/lib/freevo/TV.xml.pickled. I'm running rel-1 revision 10255. I turned debugging up to 9 but still don't see any clues. John - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges. We had a GSoC project improving the DVB code in GStreamer. I have a small test file with not much lines of code that records a whole program (incl. all audio languages and teletext). The problem I have right now is that there is a deadlock on stop somewhere we can not find. So there is much going on in that area. >> >> 1. Like I wrote above: better record the whole channel. Soenke had the problem once that the German audio pid suddenly changed to 'German for blind' with someone talking in the background what you see. The normal German audio channel was on a new pid. This sucks and can only be avoided if we record everything and choose later. [Freevo-users] TV listings gone (Your listings expire in 0 hours.)
Hi, Maybe something to do with change of year (?) ... It was working fine yesterday. My TV listings have gone. All channels say "This channel has no data loaded". On the homepage of my freevo web server, it says: "Notice: Your listings expire in 0 hours." I have cron run 'freevo tv_grab' nightly at 3am. When I run 'freevo tv_grab' manually, it spends a while downloading stuff, but then spends a very short time resolving conflicts and whatnot. Normally that takes a while. Any ideas?
