Create a FXD file for that movie. Read the doc about FXD on the WiKi. Is it the only way? In my country (Poland) most films (80%) has that problem. Do I have create FXD file for all films? Maybe there is any more automatic way? The best solve for me is to add a chose to subtitle like a choose of track. List all files in the directory of film and give a user choice: Which one do you want to use? Is it possible? Maybe in next version? Mplayer can load automatically subtitle files which have the same name than the movie file (only the extension is different). You could also write a small script which automatically generates the FXD file from the movie filename and the subtitle filename. If we have a CD with a divx film and, for example, 5 subtitles files, all from diferent languages, then it would be easy to choose one. This way, we would be restricted to one subtitle language per film What do you all think? Actually, it might be possible to generate an FXD file automatically from the content of a CD, in order to have that menu created (and the created FXD could be cached, also). Yes, that would be great. I have many cds with divx films and burnning them all again with the fxd files is not an option. You don't need to. You can put FXD files in a freevo directory (MOVIE_DATA, I think), and Freevo will be able to automatically ``recognize'' which CD is related to which FXD file (using the CD's ID and/or LABEL info). All my CDs have been burnt without FXD, and all my FXD are stored on the hard disk drive.
