Re: [Freevo-users] Using XINE to play MPEG Transport Streams

2007-03-06 Thread Jim Duda
Can anyone tell me where I might find good examples of 720p, 1080i,
1080p MPEG program streams with AC3 such that I can attempt to play
these examples?

I want to isolate any issues I might be having with recording and
playing the MPEG TS streams extracted from ATSC using the HD5000 DVB card.

Thanks,

Jim

When playing these MPEG transport streams via xine, I get encouraging
results in that the CPU usage is very low, however, I don't get any audio!

In the freevo display, these files appear as MPEG Transport Stream,

For some reason, xine isn't extracting the audio properly from the mpeg

unable to get xine to plays these outside freevo either.

[Freevo-users] Using XINE to play MPEG Transport Streams

2007-03-04 Thread Jim Duda
I'm starting to record HDTV content using an HD5500 card. I'm dumping

I can play these using mplayer, however, I'm at what appears to be the
