It's not that hard, you add an entry for an fxd file in local_conf.py:

Thx There doesn't seem to much real info on the wiki alright, I'll try update it when I get a chance. You do not need to activate any additional plugin for streaming radio from the net. I'm not at a freevo box right now so bear with me. From memory in your local_conf.py under AUDIO_ITEMS= one of the examples is for webradio. This points to a file webradio.fxd. Do a search for this and then you can add your own stations to this file or create a new file. The apple trailers plugin was never part of the core freevo package for legal reasons. There are many additional plugins that do not come by default with freevo, check them out under the addons link on the site. The apple plugin isn't there. I don't remember who created this originally but I had to rewrite it about 6 months ago when apple changed their site. I haven't used this in quite a while, I'll have a look at home tonight and see if it still works. If it does I'll upload it. I'd like to add that in some cases, when mplayer is used (I don't have xine installed) the option '-playlist' might be needed. I mean, mplayer http://some.server/stream.asx might fail, but mplayer -playlist http://some.server/stream.asx might work. In such cases, the .asx is surely hidding a mms:// with doesn't need any addicional parameter. This is probably mplayer's fault, but perhaps freevo might use some workarounds to improve this. Then someone could build a recording plugin for the audio streaming channels and voila. Also the TV guide would be configured to show or ignore radio channels. Hi. I've been searching in the Freevo webpage, but I haven't found any info. Is Freevo capable of playing audio and/or video streamings? If it isn't yet, it would be a nice feature for Freevo 2.0. I noticed there is info about the fxd file in the web radio section of the wiki, but I couldn't figure out if it was possible to record it. Would it be possible to extend recordserver to do this? Is recordserver heavily involved with the TV tuner aspect of things or does it handle more of the scheduling issues?
