   Hi,

I'm running freevo 1.4.1 and have a problem with freevo not
 showing
  any
info (title length, chapters, audio tracks, subtitles) for
 DVD's.

It worked for 1.4rc1 but now it only lists all titles. Am I
 missing
   something on my machine?

If you use the runtime, you can't see this informations. Only an
installed version of Freevo with libcss and libdvdread can get
 that
  info.

I am using the runtime, but I have made a symlink in runtime/dll to
 my
own compiled version of libdvdread 0.9.4 (and renamed the existing
libdvdread). I'll try to do the same with libcss, would that work?

No, the runtime can't load shared libs from the system. It's because
 of some glibc problems.

Ok, I've installed all the deps and recompiled libcss, libdvdread and
mplayer and do not use the runtime anymore. I still don't get any info
on DVD's. Any ideas what the problem can be?

Just some ideas but I had a problem where I had libdvdread installed but
not the headers when I built mmpython so it left that part out. So if
you just rebuilt / installed libdvdread maybe you should rebuild
mmpython (don't forget to run ./compile there!) install, then run freevo
 cache --rebuild.
