Think of social engg. Put in some name that would not
thing that is not so simple to guess because if someone
manages to figure out how they are assigned then it
might be "game over" from the start

But a properly secured router would not make a huge
difference

Actually, GPS coords have a place in DNS records.

I usually pick up names from the Japanese Comic "DrSlump"

anyway, I've seen lots of things ... even names from Lord of the rings
...

organization.


Might be pratical to locate missing (read: walled-in or so) routers -- 
if they won't be moved around keeping their then-old name.
