Override Adm phrase or password

Hi Listers,
I'm trying to install Jaguar on my Wallstreet (OS 10.1.4 & 9.1) but it keeps asking me 
to fill in the Administrative phrase or pwd. How can I overcome this? I don't have OS 
10.1 or 9.1 disks and can not contact the previous owner for the pwd!

Pismo Ram

Hi Listers,
According to Apple syst. profiler: SoDimm 0/J2 SDRAM  64mb 
 SoDimm 1/J2 SDRAM  256mb
Which one is in the upper slot? 64mb module?

I'm trying to replace the 64mb with the  512mb ram module (got from DMS) in my pismo. 
I want to make sure it's the 64mb module in the upper position so I don't have to 
uplug the processor card to replace the lower one.

512mb Pismo Ram

Hi Listers,
I've just ordered one 512mb 144 pin PC100 64x64 CL2 Sdram 2" Board for my pb g3 pismo 
(www.datamem.com) to replace the lower bay 64mb stick. Do I need to place it in the 
same position or in upper where the 256mb is sitting? Also, any helpful info. or 
suggestion I need to replace the module will be appreciated.

Serial to USB adapter

vst zip not mount under 9.2.2

Hi Listers,
After adding OS 9.2.2 (this came with a newer G4 tower) into my Pismo (320mb ram,6gb 
Hd), the machine does not recognize VST zip drive (extension bay) but it 's mounted 
under 10.2.2. Please advise. Also, How can I make the external firewire IBM HD 80gb 
bootable? (this one also can be connected via USB port),  I installed 9.2.2 & X in the 
8gb partition but I cannot make it work! 
the machine only boots from the internal 6gb. Any tip, trick or direction will be 
appreciated.

10.2 wireless internet access

Dear Listers,
After installing 9.2.2 & configuration, I can access internet via airport base station 
but cannot under 10.2. Before 9.2 installation, I can open the explorer 5.2 and 
navitigate the net with 10.2. Now it gives the error messg: cannot locate the server 
or missing)when I'm clicking on OE icon. Please advise! (400mhz pismo, 10.2 & 
9.2,320mb,6gb)

Copy Jaguar

I'd like to drag the system folder from my internal drive (400mhz pismo,320ram,6gbhd) 
to IBM7200 80gb firewire ext.HD. IS it possible? or I have to use copycarbon to copy 
it?

Mac OS X & 9.1 installation problem

Dear listers,
I'm trying to install OS 9.1 & X into  external IBM 80gb 7200rpm firewire but it keeps 
asking me to select classic (after clicking on installation icon). How can I do the 
installation in Jaguar environment? (pismo 400mhz,10.2,320mb,6gb) It currently 
connects with firewire CDR-W & the 80gb IBM. I also trying to boot 9.1 or OS X (by 
Pressing C while turning on the machine) or selecting the starting disk by syst. 
profiler but the machine 's still starting jaguar! Is there any other way besides I'm 
going to copy 10.2 into IBM HD and reformat the 6gb internal HD to install OS 9.1 & X 
into it? Your assistance in this matter will be thankful and appreciated.

Run Classic under 10.2.1

Hi Listers,
I'm trying to install the driver for firewire portable SmartDisk CD-R/W into my 
Pismo(400mhz,10.2.1,320mb,6gb) but the syst. gives error messg. : no classic syst. 
folder is found!. Do I need to install os 9.0 into pismo first? or is there any other 
option? Also, can I swich to classic mode under 10.2.1? if yes, how? I acquired the 
Jaguar from school so it did not include OS 9.X! your assistance in this matter will 
be appreciated.

acquire a pc workstation or laptop (xp) to do her works at home. I'd to know is there

Ram & HD Pismo upgrade

I'm trying to upgrade my Pismo 400 from 320mb ram to Max. Would you let me know how 
many 128mb sticks are required. I'd also like to replace my 6gb hd with 40 gb HD.

Upgrade Pismo?

Dear listers,
Thanks for the tips on how to play-back dvd movie on my just-acquired pismo. I'll try 
tonight after getting out of the pc world. My other question, I'm going to use the 
machine to capture and edit some of analog video tapes, photos (from digital camera) 
and store some musics. Do I need to upgrade my current OS from 10 to 10.1 or/and G3 to 
G4(via PowerLogix, Newer Technology) to run imovies, iphotos or itunes? 
(400mhz,320mbRam,6gb hd, OS 10 & 9.1). Thanks in advance for any guidance or advise.

dvd play back

Hi listers,
I've just acquired the Pismo,400mgz,320mb ram,6gbHD, OS X & 9.1 and would like to play 
back the monster , inc dvd.  When I double click the dvd icon (os X environment), it 
opens a folder with several files in it. I was trying to click on every single file 
with no result (can not see any pict., just text file). Do I need to upgrade to X.1 or 
boot from 9.1 to watch movie? any tip, advise recommendation will be appreciated.
