Directory Access in Utilities. Click on the lock to authenticate,
select SMB, then 'Configure'; you can enter both the workgroup and a
WINS server in there if you've got a domain set up.

unwatchable stutter-fest. VPC feels as fast as that 300MHz PII
under some tasks, while other things just bog it down quickly. I
guess it depends on what part of the emulation it hits, and whether
or not it needs virtual memory (emulation FAT32 to emulate RAM =
slow). I did install Windows Media Player 9 on VPC and while I can
watch film clips (my school website), it is choppy generally not so
great. I'm thinking of making another "PC" with Windows 98SE and
WMP 9 to get more speed, but will wait until I upgrade my memory and
see if that helps enough (I hope).

My recommendation would be Windows 2000, as you won't use this for
serious game play anyhow.

Just for kicks I installed "Age of Empires, and surprise of

safari ills..

2004-02-13 Thread Jason R
no matter what I do, on several computers, I seem to end up with a
problem with safari.
After a few loads, its stops loading pages, and every fix on the net I
find doesn't seem to work.. this was on my iBook and Powerbook.. any
thoughts?
both have 10.3 by the way, if that helps...
