while I was trying to get online. I also get kicked off line after 10
min., my server states it isn't them, the phone company says the line is
alright and the computer has been back to apple to check on the crashes.
can anyone offer some help.

You did not say if it only happened while connected. If not my new Pismo was
crashing frequently due to a heat problem. After you check the normal things
that Bruce mentioned, get an app that will check the processors temperature,
like Metronome, Guage Pro (both freeware) or Thermograph (shareware). All
should be found at versiontracker.com.

Mine had a h/w problem and Apple solved it by gutting and rebuilding it the
second time in. They missed it the first time in.

Is anyone getting this too

This is an automated message from the G-Books mailing list manager.

List messages sent to your address [EMAIL PROTECTED] have bounced.

Richard,

I have noticed sporadic posts on different lists that mac.com has been having
problems since early May. Sometimes for 2 days at a time.

The reason I noticed this was that my AOHell account was changing the
character set to something like UTF(???), which most lists can not read at
the same time.

Norm,

Franks suggestion was good.

Are you trying to check the modem with ASP will the modem is in use? Try
disconnecting from Remote Access, then running ASP.

That is how it works only on my Pismo with OS 9.1.

Re: [G-Books]Re: Recall on AC adaptor for older G3s

2001-07-08 Thread MacinNW

So, does that give you an idea how poorly our TV and newspapers report the
news? We've know this for almost a week now.

And someone on one of the lists guessed that the Cube would be dropped a
month ago. That made the news the same day that Apple released that info.

I would still prefer to live here than anywhere else in the world, but if you
think that the news is not actively or passively censored, then you are
deluded.
