Does the pismo's display cable work in the lombard or not?
What about the inverter cable?
I have a lombard with a big grey horizontal line about 2/3 down the
screen... it's annoying but I hardly use the machine...

Is a Lombard screen assembly interchangeable with a Pismo, or do they

different connectors on the motherboard?

They obviously have different connectors since the Lombard still has a SCSI
while the Pismo has 2 FireWire ports. The video card is also different so
the cable to the screen might be different as well...

Sort of.
You need to use the cable that came with the screen IIRC.
However, if I recall correctly, the connector on the logic board is
not the
same, so that wouldn't work, since the Lombard and Pismo use different
video
cards.

-Laurent.
If you change out the entire screen with inverter and cable it will
work. The bare screens have the connectors in different places, so the
cable won't reach properly. Easiest if you don't mind the different
name on the plastic housing.

I'm 99% sure it's the same.

The don't use cards - just a chip soldered on the logic board.
