I've tried zapping PRAM and resetting power manager, and going back to 8.6 with the stock CDs too. I also tried the IOXperts generic wifi drivers (www.ioxperts.com) which also didn't report seeing a card. Lastly, I tried a NetGear 802.11b Wireless PC Card (MA 401), which also wasn't recognized. Anyone have any tips? Is there a way to 'reset' the PC Card slot? I can't seem to find a way to make sure it's getting power. Thanks, -=Dennis=- --- Have you tried the Proxim card with the Apple Airport drivers? I thought that card was one of those that worked like an Airport card. Does the card have an LED? If so, it should blink as the computer starts up. Ken -- G-Books is sponsored by http://lowendmac.com/ and... Due to vibration or a shock, it is possible that the card cage has been dislodged. I don't know if the Lombard is similar to the Wallstreet, but when I replaced mine on my previous Wallstreet, it had been a major undertaking, as I had to completely disassemble the Wallstreet to get to the PC card cage... -Laurent. -- Laurent Daudelin AIM/iChat: LaurentDaudelinhttp://nemesys.dyndns.org Logiciels Nemesys Software mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] bozotic /boh-zoh'tik/ or /boh-zo'tik/ adj.: [from the name of a TV clown even more losing than Ronald McDonald] Resembling or having the quality of a bozo; that is, clownish, ludicrously wrong, unintentionally humorous.
