Timothy,

I buy all my memory, well, and all memory for my computers as well,
from MemoryX (www.memoryx.com).
I've been buying from them for about ten years Always the best service
and memory products.

Best regards,

I'd like to max out the RAM on my Powerbook (15 / 1.5GHz).

http://www.crucial.com/store/ListParts.asp?mfr=Applemodel=PowerBook
+G4+1%2E5GHz+%2815%2Dinch+Display%29 lists them at $211 per 1GB.

I'd like to buy from Crucial because I've had good luck with them,
but wonder if others have had good experience with another vendor
that they would recommend. I don't want to go cheap-over-reliable.

I thought we had talked about this recently but couldn't find the
messages.

Thanks

TjL

I recently picked up a 1GB sodimm for my pb12 1.33 and have been very
happy with it. A co-worker bought Patriot memory from Newegg for his
pb12 1.5 and has been very happy as well.

I buy all my memory from Data Memory Systems and have never had a
problem. They've gone more than the extra mile with folks here,
exchanging three SO-Dimm's with one user before they found out that
*their* compatibility info was wrong for that model (A gateway
laptop, not a Mac). They ended up refunding his cost and giving him
the RAM.

I've heard good things about TransIntl.com. Mike Breeden of xlr8yourmac.com
fame used to work there (iirc) and still has them as a major advertiser. I've
order most of my Macs' RAM from them over the years, though did grab some for
my Beige from OWC with my power supply order this week.

TransIntl ain't necessarily the cheapest, but so far so good.
