On many websites, again when using Safari, when I try to enter my postal code, it will keep coming up as just 6's and 1's. 2. On the www.westjet.com site (airline, using Safari, it simply does not seem to allow you to use the drop down menus for entering dates to book on-line. Since this is the only way you can enter the dates, I have to use a different browser. Why is Safari unable to deal with these seemingly basic entry tasks ? Is there a simple answer? Though if it's the only way for you to enter dates, we may be looking at different pages; on the page I tested, you can also click on the little calendar icon to the right of the date, and then click on a date in the pop-up calendar. That also worked for me. I'm using 10.4.3 with the latest Safari. So I don't think Safari is the problem here (or at least the only problem). In fact, Safari fails to work so rarely that I don't even remember the last time it failed. Oh, except it and the Mozilla-based browsers all used to give a java error when I tried to refill pr*scr*pt**ns at my insurer's online ph**m*cy, but that's been fixed. (In Safari I have the debug menu activated, and the user agent automatically chosen; I may once or twice have changed it to IE for a site.) All the pulldowns (11) on the home page of westjet work for me. I'm not sure if I have the debug menu enabled. I still can't find it to check. I use Onyx, but other utilities also give enabling/disabling it a GUI (Safari Enhancer is the main one), and I just saw someone posting the terminal command to implement this - wasn't it on this list?
