Which is solved by a PCMCIA airport card. I have the Orinoco Gold. A non
problem as far as I'm concerned.

Also, the early PB G4s have about 12% more pixels compared to the Pismo
and from the 667DVI and on, there is about 28% more pixels.
Personally I felt liberated abandoning the 1024 x 768 prison. I won't go back.

From all reports it'll run quite happily; at least on Pismos which are
officially supported.

From 10.2 - 10.4 there's been steady improvements in speed and
functionality.

I agree on the G4 issue, though the TiBook is a better system. The main
issue with TiBooks is the poor Airport range.

I don't doubt that the prismo is an excellent machine BUT my experience

In my opinion, ALWAYS get the best/latest you can afford in any

One thing to remember, and it is true for all powerbooks, is to open
and close the lid holding the center of the screen rather than the
right or the left side. I have had the TiBook for a long time now and

I've seen lots of broken hinges - I also know quite a few people who
own
TiBooks, have owned them for quite a few years, and have pristine
hinges. I
have no doubt that the design is flawed - but I also suspect that the
treatment of the computer plays a role.
