That's the risk you take asking a mail list for help.
It's entirely possible that no one knows how to answer your questions.
I'll admit that I'm hardly an expert on the TiBook line, and if I don't
know something about a question, I don't answer it. Rather no help than
wrong help.

Most of the questions I've ever asked went unanswered, too.
It's not a biggie, at least to me.

OK, so I probably am on the wrong list. I could accept all the software
stuff if hardware questions weren't ignored so often. Maybe my titanium
is too new for being regarded low-end? I'm not sure. Maybe I should find
a titanium only list somewhere. Or start one,

My general point was that specific email account support shouldn't be one
of the functions of this list. General help for people that have PC-
centric ISP's or whatever are of course on topic, but even better help
can be given in the discussion group for the specific email client one
uses. There email is always more or less on topic. PowerMail discussions
is one great place.

Ok, I getting offtopic here. My apologies.

My advice to get in touch with the email support for the specific service
was sound and should be the first step for anyone in a similar situation.

Actually the original post and answers were appropriate. The original poster
had no idea what the message meant, why he still got it after
troubleshooting, nor what his next step should be.

Oh, yes, less blame the list members for not meeting *your*
expectations.

Anyone know about a list with more focus on portable mac hardware?

So ask hardware questions if you want a discussion of some hardware
issue. What are you expecting here?

I think what is happening is that although you're deleting mail from
your desktop, the copies on the server aren't being deleted and
therefore you're using up your account space.

You can set the mail to be deleted from server once you download in
your mail client. I think you might also have to double check if you
have settings that need to be changed on your account if you read it
remotely directly on the server. I had the same issue and had to edit
my account preferences in Apple's Mail App *and* in the Web mail client
I use to read mail when I'm not home.

Good luck!
Donald

This is a question far better answered by your ISP. You're paying for
the service; call them.
