This has me worried.I use a G4.Apple keeps updating iTunes all the time.I have a LOT of stuff in my iTunes,some I can't download again,I don't want to lose access to it. You can run iTunes 9 on a G4, so just use iTunes 9. If you're worried Apple is going to screw you, then it won't matter what version of iTunes you run - you're always going to have that fear. But Apple's control of said DRM (?Fairplay?) will leave you with unplayable music if the iTunes Store should be closed. Really tho, I wasn't thinking of the DRM. I was thinking about the poor quality of Apple's music tracks, in the first place. I myself have not yet updated iTunes 9 but I might be soon, today I got my weekly apple email and they had some new tv shows for free and I wanted to get them but couldn't because I don't have the latest iTunes.
