[Audyssey] problem with bavisoft

2006-12-23 Thread john snowling
Hi Jen K

Yes i've had this problem with Bavisoft.

When I ordered Chillingham 1 it took 6 weeks to come the same with Grisly
Gulch.

They said they were going to bring out Chillingham 2 I think this was about
2 years or so ago. I may be wrong there.

The Space bar is your attack button. The Up arrow jumps, then you just stear
with the arrows. Tab opens your inventory were you can select items.

New links for Enemy Attack and Wrecking Ball, by DreamtechInteractive, are
up and working. They are:

  http://files-upload.com/files/34560/EnemyAttacksetup.exe.html

  http://files-upload.com/files/34572/wreckingball.zip.html

You'll have to do a jaws find for click here to download--typing to
download should work fine. If I can get Road runner to work then I'll host
the file there. I'm just in a rush to get the games somewhere by Sunday.

Re: [Audyssey] explanation for the nemesis puzzle game.

2006-12-23 Thread Karl
Hi,
The colors are in a certain order, with red being the largest and blue being
smallest. It voices all the puzzles, and makes different sounds to denote
the success or failure of a part of a puzzle. I have completed the vast
majority of the puzzles.

Re: [Audyssey] danger city

2006-12-23 Thread Bryan Peterson
Apparently he's not all that impressed with the game. I can sorta see what
he means but I do believe the game had potential. My problem is that there
doesn't appear to be a manual. Act three also is giving me major headaches
since it seems to consist entirely of mines.
It ain't pretty when the pretty leaves you with no place to go.

[Audyssey] explanation for the nemesis puzzle game.

2006-12-23 Thread Yohandy
Hello there,
I've done a bit of research on this nemesis game, and don't quite understand
how it is accessible. Does it have a feature where it speaks the colors or
something? I'm real interested in getting one of these, but would like an
explanation on how blind people would play it. Also has anyone completed all
100 puzzles?

[Audyssey] Jedi quake, and jfw scripts; was: Judgement Day

2006-12-23 Thread Sean Mealin
Hi;
First thing I would like to say, is great!!! Job ON jQ!
My friend and I always play it when we get together; and it is always so
much fun!
To answer your question; the latest scripts can be found at:
http://www.empowermentzone.com/msenv2005.exe
How do you like C# so far? I came from C++, and I find it so much easier.
OH, and how did your QC chat go? I couldn't make it; do you know if you are
going to have another one?

THANKS!
Sean

Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Judgement Day

Speaking of newer languages, I'm working with visual studio 2005 with C#
at the moment and am just getting the hang of it's layout and such. I'm
wondering if anyone might know of the most current scripts for this with
Jaws 7?

I just downloaded a release of a script but it's not perfect so I'm
wondering what others experiences are?

When I move a control around a window, I'm not hearing the proper
positioning of it; as it's being spoken as zero even though it is
definitely being moved.

I'd like to get this a bit more reliable before I start into Direct X
and such, so any help or suggestions etc. would be greatly appreciated!...

Thanks so much and have a wonderful day!!!...

Smiles,

Cara

[Audyssey] NPR Story on accessible gaming

2006-12-23 Thread Che
  Hi gang,
NPR(National Public Radio) in the states is doing a story on accessible
gaming that will be airing this Sunday during the show entitled "Weekend
Edition". The piece will air sometime during the second hour of the
broadcast. Most folks in the states can get NPR on their radio, but check
local listings to see when Weekend Edition airs near you.
Amy Stanton, the reporter for NPR covering the story interviewed
developers, including myself as well as others in the accessible gaming
community.
I think this is great, and will give some much needed exposure to the fact
that the blind community plays games on their computers as well as the rest
of the world.
Additionally after the show airs, you will be able to listen to it on
NPR.org.
So for all of you out there that have just been dying to hear the sexy
voice of your game developers , the time has finally come.
  Brace yourselves.
  Mahahahahaa.
  Che

Re: "the game isn't copyrighted in any way"

Unless the author has been dead for 75 years then he (or his heirs) still
own the copyright. Copyright is automatic. It's not something you need to
apply for. If you create something original then you automatically own the
copyright and you do not need to explicitly state this.
