I wander if such a game could be done.
ie you are a developer, and well stuff goes wrong you have to meet deadlines

2007-02-20 Thread Josh
well we've waited this long for it. I don't think another week or so will
hurt. Besides, I got plenty of movies to watch in mp3 and other games to
play such as star trek final conflict and sryth, so take your time getting
the floor fixed and it'll be out when it comes out.

Re: [Audyssey] Sarah game delayed due to construction

2007-02-20 Thread Dark
And so, pride get's it's joist reward. Grin!
Sorry for that Phil, but I was a pun in the situation somewhere.

quite seriously, as you can probably guess, I'm very sorry that Sarah's
adventure has suffered yet another delay in release, but I think that all
the time and effort will result in a truly great game when it is finally
released.

On a personal note, sinse the production I'm in is going to be performed
next thursday and Friday, my next few days are going to be taken up with
rehearsing, singing practice and last minute script learning, so even if the
game was release, odds are I wouldn't have time to play it.

On the other hand, running away from dementors etc would probably be quite
relaxing after being on stage.

I'm certainly looking forward to Sarah, in fact I've been looking forward to
it ever sinse I first discovered audio games in october of 2005.

all the best,

Dark.

Better not use send this file. It's awesome, since you can send unlimited

If you have a popup-blocker, you'll need to turn it off before useing these

[Audyssey] Sarah game delayed due to construction

2007-02-20 Thread Phil Vlasak
Hi Folks,
While jumping up and down, Whooping Gleefully, at the impending completion
of Sarah and the Castle of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I notice my floor start
to trampoline. It dropped about two inches and opened up a gap between my
computer room and the kitchen.
I had a contractor look at it, and was told that the floor joists are giving
away.
Starting tomorrow morning Wednesday they will tear out the floor and jack
up the kitchen to level it out then put it back together. This should only
take about three days.
But I may not be able to get to my computer during that time. So I must
delay the release of the game at least until next week.
And no, this is not a joke.
Sincerely,
Phil

It would be a fun project, but you have to remember how fast the normal
game of football is. one thing I like about superfootball is they take an
extremely fast game and slow it down. I'm not familiar with soccer cause we
don't have it here as much as any other sports like football or basketball,
but it would be fun to make it.

The weapon with the three jewels and rusty longsword is going to be
 great
once it's implimented, but as of now it hasn't been. You can get one of
 the
three jewels, and that's it. The Hail Blade is a great weapon though,
 and
can be purchased after winning the tournament of arms.

2007-02-20 Thread Brandon Cole
Actually, um, the gem you're thinking of in the monistary is just a small
emerald, and isn't part of the Sword of Merzig. A lot of people thought that
gem was one of the three, but it turned out not to be. And just in case you
aren't aware, this can actually be tested.

Re: [Audyssey] Vrazilian and portuguese dream!

2007-02-20 Thread jorge
Hi friends! As you know, in latin countries will love Football! And as you
also know I'm a membar a comunity of brazilian and portuguese blind players!
And we have a dream that we very often talk about! We have a dream that
one day it will be possible that exists one accessible game of football
(soccer for american people)!
I know there is a Super Football from Vipgameszone but to be honest I
tried this game and I didn't like because this game is really not close to a
real football! And I also didn't like the sounds and the rules of this game
because they are different from a real sport!
I really like Vipgameszone's ideas and their games are becoming better
and better and I congratulations them for their excelent job in last games
but Super Football I didn't like! And I'm not the only one that think like
that!
My question is: do you think that it will be possible make something that
could make acessible football Games for sighted people like Fifa 2006 or
Pro-Evolution Soccer or it would be possible one day, one of our productors
of audiogames make one accessible game of football?
You know is one social question because in our countries we are really
crazy about this sport! We always think about it and we are sad when our
family and friends who are sighted people can play computer games of this
sport and we just can see they playing! What a dream it is!
Thank you very much if you answer my thoughts!
Greetings
Jorge

[Audyssey] Update pack for Technoshock

2007-02-20 Thread Phil Vlasak
Update pack for Technoshock 1.40b

The update pack is available. It fixes some bugs and adds a "Learn game
sounds" item in the Main game menu.

Note: Extract "setup_eng_update_pack.exe" from a zip-archive and install it
into the same folder, where the game was installed.

There are two of them.

One of them is in the lower levels of the monestary in the northern section
of Trithik and you can find the other by exploring the woods in the first
Silver Crest quest. You can only put one of them on the sword.
I have heard a rumor that the GM will put them somewhere else in the game so
those who didn't find the gems the first time can try again, but no sign of
them yet.
