With games that really depends on what you get... but with consoles, I can't
really tell you because I don't have it. There are a good amount of games
though.

I play on the manitoba team. Well, kinda of. You have to be 18 to be counted
an actual "member", which means I can't go on tournoments etc. Being only
16, I'm kinda annoyed. But whatever, I'm getting off topic.

If you mean the goalball one on one game, you can find it at:

but personally I wasn't overly impressed with it myself.

If on the other hand you mean the actual sport of goalball, - check in

Re: [Audyssey] STFC

2008-02-23 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Bryan,
Yeah, I am rather excited to see STFC 2 as well. Not only because STFC 1
is buggy, but I really like the new real time strategy elements STFC 2
will provide.
For example, in STFC 1 if an enemy invasion force blows up a starbase
you can't rebuild it. In STFC 2 assuming you defeat or stop the
advancing enemy fleet you can construct a new starbase, and put patrol
ships around it to make sure that next time that boarder won't be
crossed without a fight.
Another great thing about real time strategy is you don't have to
constantly monitor everywhere at once. You can place A.I. commanded
ships in a sector of space you want to maintain a constant patrol, and
you will get alerted when the fleet is in danger. They will either
handle it themselves or request backup which you will personally reasign
to reinforce the stationed fleet under attack.
Other cool ideas for a real time strategy game is save money by building
mine fields near a neutral zone so that any fleet that happens to wander
over the neutral zone will hit those mine fields and get destroyed or
damaged.

Re: [Audyssey] Important for anyone interested in, or having trouble installing Audio Quake or Jedi Quake

2008-02-23 Thread Cara Quinn
Actually it's not. Locate the mod.cfg file in ID1 and open it in a
text editor. You'll see the line:

startdemos demo1 demo2 demo3

Add // to the beginning of it so that it then looks like:

// startdemos demo1 demo2 demo3

this will stop the demos from running.

Save the file after backing up the original and the game should start
silently.

Have a nice day!…

Well I had this issue on all systems.
you probably got this because you did a regscrub or something like that.
The reason is that for some stupid reason, adobe keys will just go nuts and
kill these.
the following things must be done.
1. go to add remove programs.
then uninstall flash and shockwave.
now go to www.softwarepatch.com or where ever you download flash.
I use softwarepatch.
click internet link in softwarepatch.
you can get flash and shockwave there.
you also can get a flash and shuckwave uninstaller.
I was able to uninstall and reinstall shockwave ok.

Hi, Ken,

This message is very, very old, and I don't know how it got in the folder it
did, but ...

Can you tell me where to find the Scrabble game that works on the PM, as
well as any scripts you wrote for it?

I love scrabble. Is this a good game, with a great dictionary and all?

Thanks.

As most of you know, there is a Scrabble game that works on the PM and I've
created scripts for it. I'm about to modify those scripts, but I need
feedback on what I can do to make them better. The mods will include 1.
Tile Selection. When you press 1 thru 7 the Jaws cursor will be activated.
2. Play mode. When you press p chord or insert p, the PC cursor will be
activated.
Ideas I have for mods
3. Selection notification: computer will beep when tile is selected but not
when deselected. (don't know how to go about doing that one but I'm gonna
work on it.)
4. Find a Letter to build on
The last two ideas may not be feasible.
Well, that's all for now--gonna go play more Crazy Bubbles--that game's
addictive!

Did that and the demo is in the executable file itself.

[Audyssey] flash and video problem

2008-02-23 Thread ari
Hi all,
You can reply off-list, but this is also with audiogames and flash games, as
nothing seems to work, I know this might be considered a bit OT, but I've
asked on so many lists and noone has had an answer for me and I'm really
beginning to get desperate because I really don't know what to do, sorry. My
problem is that, I can't work out if it's a flash issue, but for quite a few
weeks now, it doesn't look like flash content, like Youtube Videos,
sudo-san, nothing wants to play. I click, for example, on a link of a
youtube video, or a link that says watch a video, or on the sudo-san link,
I'm getting absolutely no response. The page of the video pops up with the
buttons to play them, but even when I try and press the flash buttons,
nothing happens. How can I work out what's going on?
Thanks
Ari
