[Audyssey] Change reaction Question

2014-03-12 Thread Teresa Cochran
Hi, all,

I play Change reaction on my Mac Mini quite often and love it. I'm best at the
Payday mode. I am playing the classic game more often and the loose change game
somewhat often. :)

My question is this: I notice that in the Classic game, as I move over a stack
of coins, there's a little click, and even if my coin-in-hand doesn't seem to
relate to the coins that are showing when I play it, there's usually a moderate
to significant explosion. What is going on? Is there a horizontal row of coins
underneath the coin that's showing that interact with my coin-in-hand?

Thanks,
Teresa

When you find something to fight, ie, you've typed kill x and the game says
you are now targiting x use actions to see what actions to take with your
equipped gear, that will give you the syntax for using the gun.

I'm afraid I can't be specific, sinse I spent skill points on primative
weapons so use melee or basic throwing weapons.

No, no soundpacks.

In fairness alter is the exception rather than the rule in terms of
someone
building such a massive custom pack for it. Some muds like materiamagica
and
medevia have a fewsounds you can download from their websites but these
are

inteded just as some extra atmosphere and only give the odd sound for
events, rather than replacing in game text events with sounds and making
sound a major part of the experiences as the alter pack done. effecitvely
what oriol has done for alter is create a virtually custom client that
actually changes the game experience significantly, to the point where I'd
no longer considder alter just a basic textual game.

This of course is open to anyone to do with vipmud or other client
scripts,

but it'd be a massive amount of work.

Beware the grue!

Dark.

It does, but you'll need to follow the installation instructions on the
website and that are displayed in an edit box during the installation of
the MTScripts in order for it to go off problem free. There are a couple
of requirements related to where it needs to be installed and you need
the visual c++2005 redistributable, which you most likely already have.
It should be fine, I'm running on 8.1, have been for a couple months now.

Hi Dark.

You can also build different buildings to deal with lumber like a lumber
yard that can deal with what the harvest tool can deal with plus a mining
plant for getting metals out so you always have a good stock at your
buildings.

Cheers.

Hi darren.

As I believe I said earlier, jobs, or at least the ones with the job
command are sort of like awards or challenges you can do each day to earn
some skillpoin, for example the leafeater job I discovered when I first
killed a herbivore, while the armor crafter job I found when I first made
some armor.

type jobs to see a list of jobs you've unlocked, and job then the name to
find out more about it.

The terminal is used to buy things you don't find on the surface, yeah.
It'll take a while for the shuttle to drop them off, at which point you
can
collect terminal, to get them. That's where I got my rifle kit.
Selling,

as far as I know, can be done more or less anywhere, though I haven't
experimented much with this.

Yes, there are a few commands you ned for the tool.
list tool will tell you what it can produce, sorted into a bunch of
categories.
view thing on tool will tell you what the thing you want to be
produced

will need, e.g. view colonial rifle on tool.
craft thing with tool will begin loading the tool with resources to

produce

something. You'll have to select items to load based on quality, or just
type all, to automatically take the highest quality of anything you

have.

Start tool will actually start the crafting process, which can take a

minute

or more.
If I might make a suggestion, a prefab housing kit is a great place to
start.
Hope this helps,
Zack.

Hi,
The minerals and other things you harvest aren't actually stored in
your collector, they're put directly in your inventory. You can check
it from time to time to get an idea of how you're doing.
My most recent accomplishment has been crafting a rifle and ammunition
for it. The bulk of the rifle came from a kit, but still. I finally
figured out that the different collectors are useful to harvest
different types of resources, though I guess it should have been
pretty obvious. :) Enjoy, Zack.

Questions though. firstly, when harvesting either fibers or minerals,
how can you tell how much resources you have or even if it's getting
full? What happens when your resource collectors get full?

[Audyssey] Castaways Recording.

2014-03-12 Thread leo
Dear all,

I would like to know if anyone would be willing to create a recording of
Castaways by Aprone. I would like to listen to others play it as I always
hear a recording of Swamp so I wanted to change it up. Thx, Leo

It does, but you'll need to follow the installation instructions on the
website and that are displayed in an edit box during the installation of the
MTScripts in order for it to go off problem free. There are a couple of
requirements related to where it needs to be installed and you need the
visual c++2005 redistributable, which you most likely already have.
It should be fine, I'm running on 8.1, have been for a couple months now.

[Audyssey] MT Scripts and Monkey Term

2014-03-12 Thread eargel99
Dear Gamers,

I am confused about something. Should I install MT Scripts or Monkey Term
first? This is confusing because I have read the documentation, which said
that I must install MT scripts in the same directory as Monkey Term. But
Which one should I install first?

Thank you for your time in resolving this issue.

Signed,

Steven

slaughtering monsters until I finish the ranger background and can start on

Hi Darren.

Well getting stuff is done by harvesting, explorig, building etc which will
give you skillpoints to buy more skills. Also, note your background sinse
that has an over all goal to complete, before you can do another one.

As to money, well there are various ways. Selling items with the sell
command, or building a surveyer special tool and then interfacing it with
your terminal in your house, you can also go back to the colony central area
and there is a factory where you can labour for credits each day. Those are
the most reliable methods I've found thus far, though I suspect there are
more.

Beware the gRue!

view thing on tool will tell you what the thing you want to be

Hi,
The minerals and other things you harvest aren't actually stored in
your collector, they're put directly in your inventory. You can check
it from time to time to get an idea of how you're doing.
My most recent accomplishment has been crafting a rifle and ammunition

different types of resources, though I guess it should have been
pretty obvious. :) Enjoy, Zack.

big expansion.
Has anyone ever gotten far with this game though? When I tried it, it was
