You might try Materia Magica. It's not directly based on ADD, because like Dennis said, those rules don't make for a great computer game. But we have the familiar fantasy settings of dragons and magic, warriors and quests. I'll don't know if Materia Magica will be sufficiently different from Alter Aeon to suit your mood, but it might be worth a try. Hello everyone I want to know if I worked hard in week 0 is it the reason of bankrupting? the thing when I build an attraction why my customers are reviewing about the attraction in next week. are you able to save your park from ankrupting? Hi Ishan, Simply put the reason you are bankrupting is you are mismanaging your park finances. I have played the game several times and have not gone bankrupt. I have gotten to a point where my park was making money hand over fist, and someone else wanted to buy me out. So if you are going bankrupt you are making bad financial decisions and not playing the game correctly. As for drawing more than 10,000,500 out of the bank. Fact of the matter is there is no need ever to draw that much money out of the bank. If you do chances are you are mismanaging your finances and are just digging your whole deeper. Cheers! Hi. mm imho is very ifferent from Alter, in the classes and how they work and especially in the great wilderness system. I initially was not keen on the game sinse for someone who loves completing quests and tasks, it was a little irritating that marks were so easy to level past, and quests were all timed and usually based on finding random places on a huge map meaning I spent most of my time running around looking or them, but I have heard both of these got a revamp recently. Hi Ishan, I've only played once and like Thomas ended up with a park making a tidy profit each week. as Thomas and Charles said managing finances is the key to a successful park. Below is a little hint for when starting out that helped me Spoiler ahead I found I needed a lot bigger loan than just 10,000 to start the game with think I took out about 50,000, then put a few rides in and facilities so there was enough to attract customers then opened the park. I found walking round the park and using the talk to the park visitors really helpful as generally they will let you know what they think of the park, for example if they say they are bored put in more stuff, if they say ticket prices are really low put them up. Again its about getting the right balance for how much you charge so you're making a good profit but at the same time the customers are happy . remember it's a business your running and that if customers are saying its great value then you can probably put the cost up , keep them happy but you don't want to be selling stuff cheaper than people will pay. And if it looks like your running low on money you can always increase your loan, but be careful as the bigger the loan the bigger the interest and repayments, again all about juggling those finances hope that helps as it's a really good fun game. Hi Ishan, Right there is the source of your problem. If you want the park to be more successful you need to begin with more than $10,500. You can go to the bank and borrow as much money as you need, and you need more than one or two cheap attractions to make money. If you only borrow $10,500 and put a couple of cheap attractions on your park that's why you aren't making any money. What I do is borrow $10,500 build one or two basic attractions. Go to the bank and borrow more. By the time the second week comes along I might have borrowed around $60,000 in ones, but have around 10 attractions including toilets and plenty of operators and entertainers. [Audyssey] A Dark Room question on collecting fur
Greetings All! Stuck in a dark room. I need the compass but it cost 400 fyr, and I cannot seem to figure out how the fur thing works. My town has all items that I can purchase, except things from the workshop and the merchant. I go to the town and click on traps and it will say that I have recived fur, meat etc, but when I go to supplys It still says 0 or a number that dosent add up to what is stated if you add up what is stated when you clear the traps. I kinda like this game but need to get the compass I think because there is nothing else to do. Thanks for any and all suggestions. Game On! Hi Ishan , All the advice you've been given is right. The phrase, you've got to spend money to make some springs to mind. As John says in real life most big companies don't make a profit when they first open, it takes time. Advertising may help. As to your point about overdraft there is one. You can go down to -£2 once you go over that the bank gives you 3 weeks of warnings before closing your park. The overdraft is used to pay your running coasts, you can't build things with it, that's why you need a loan Thanks.
