Greetings Dark!
Well I am getting closer, Thanks for all your tips along the way.
A few more questions for you to help get me to the end.
Sppoiler for any one not at the end of the game.
You have been warned!
Any way I have the ships hull at 70 percent but cannot lift off.
It seems that that button is not highlighted, or rather cant be selected.
What am i missing?
Do I need more alien aloy?
Did I miss an item?
Also one question about Eyes, health meley.
Do these upgrades cost you weight? If I'm going on an adventure I may
not neede lets say Eyes for example and need to carry other items,
just wondered your thoughts on balanceing these items.
Thanks So Much again for all the help.
I am really enjoying the game.

 Hi Sylvester.

Lol, your first two questions have related answers sinse batteries are the
 amo for the laser :D.

With Alien alloy, things are the same as a dark room in terms of where to
find it, ie, battlefields, boreholes and possibly in cities. This does take

a little longer than in A dark room sinse you don't have the builder's
amulet to help you. Make sure to take note of the unexplored space listed

on the map, particularly a long way out from the Swamp.

While I found it a longer collection than in A dark room, on the plus side a

bunch of new encounters have been added, particularly sinse you will find
you need to keep visiting dungeons to make sure you have food, durable
weapons and amo, plus there is a little special you can run into to make
combat generally easier, (as a little hint, trading is good, and all
resources in the game are used for something even if it doesn't seem so).

Even though it took a longer time to find all the alien alloy than in a dark

room, I enjoyed that section of a game a lot more in The Ensign sinse there

was much more to explore, though when you do! get to the ending I ran into a

miner bug where I got a blank screen and had to turn vo off and tap it to
proceed, though whether Amir has sinse fixed this I don't know.

Oh, and there are some very cool audio interviews to listen to as well as a

reward, just like a dark room has.

 All the best,

 Dark.

and wondrous strange and there are more things benieth the stars than even
the archmaesters of the citadel can dream.

 Greetings Dark!
Thanks So Much for the help.
I am getting close to the end, I think, and had a few more questions.
 Batteries, what are there purpose?
Also the laser, what ammo does it use?
I have a laser and it will say that it's precentage is fine but that
 it is out of ammo.

Lastly Alien Aloy, where do you think the best place is to attain it?
you cant trade for it like in a dark room so I am thinking I will be
wandering around collecting it in small portions.
Well Thanks once again for the help, I am really enjoying this game.

 Hi Sylvester.

glad your getting into the Ensign.

the percentage is the weapon's durability. So long as it is greater than
zero the weapon will do it's normal damage, however each time you use it

 the

percentage will go down. When it hits zero, all weapons (even rifles and
laser guns), will do only 1 damage, that is the point you have to
 replace
 them.

At the swamp you can store items, (there is an option), this is
 particularly

useful at the start of the game for making sure you always have a steel
sword in reserve and for storing resources like flesh, teeth and eyes
 (who's

use you will find out later).

You can also talk to the general, which lets you view several cutscenes
about the wanderer invasion, and also lets you do something special
 after
one particular event, though I won't say anymore of that but let you
 discover it yourself.

One thing I do like about The Ensign is because weapons have a
 durability,
you keep needing to visit dungeons, also there are a lot more different
events and encounters even in lower level dungeons like Houses, which
 keep
the game interesting even when you have the convoy, just remember, you
 still

need to eat and drink, and that even though you might be carrying an
arsenal of weapons you aren't invincible, especially if you don't
 replenish

your weapons (I nearly lost out myself when playing at four in the
 morning
an forgetting to go and gather supplies).

 Enjoy the ending!

 All the best,

 Dark.

Re: [Audyssey] Clok mud

2015-02-09 Thread Keith S
actually, you can use mush z, you just have to disable the alteraeon plug in in
the client to make it work with other muds. Plus, there is no soundpack for
games other than alteraeon, so you will have to create your own if you wish to
have sound effects.

  Hi Caitlyn.

No. MushZ is specifically built for alteraeon and will not work with other
  muds.

The basic program MushZ is built on, Mushclient will work, though you'll
need to install some addons for things like output to your screen reader,
and I'm not sure how to do that, though there are others here who use
Mushclient in it's standard form and could likely help.

This is why while I use MushZ for Alteraeon, for all other muds I use
  Vipmud.

  Beware the Grue!

mush z can be used for just about anything.
you should have omit blank lines msp capture mud
output trace to window and mush reder loaded.
Optionally you should have afk timer, and winamp
controler loaded as well as com audio and lua audio files loaded.

The major core plugins are the capture mud output and the mush reader.
