Re: [Audyssey] Ten Pin Alley 2004 demonstration
Hi again. Thank you very much for this info. The piece I'm talking about in the game, is an instrumental. It's a bit fast, in major, and its first notes sound like a little toy keyboard. I also like the other instrumental with the saxophone. I hope you understand what I mean. If the first piece in particular is performed by that group, I'll certainly contact Eric Troup. Thanks again. Hi. I'm wondering if there is a way to hear the sounds of the game in mp3 or other formats. There is a sounds folder in programs, but only a few logo and registration files play. Where are The music and the other effects and stuff hiding? Eleni -Original Message- From: Gamers [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of Phil Vlasak Sent: Thursday, October 31, 2013 5:13 PM To: Gamers Discussion list Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Ten Pin Alley 2004 demonstration Hi Folks, Some of you requested the old demonstration of Ten Pin Alley for Windows $24.95 USD Draconis Entertainment is proud to offer Ten Pin Alley in conjunction with PCS Games. Immerse yourself in a simulated bowling alley to play one of the world's oldest and most beloved participatory sports! At Ten Pin Alley, you will be competing against friends and family or playing solo as the not-so-world-renound Bo Linball gives the play-by-play.among other things. The sounds of strikes, spares, cheers, elation and frustration surround you as lucky and unlucky bowlers alike vie for that third strike to boast about the turkey they got, or that fabled perfect 300 game. Music plays from the overhead speakers and as you lace up your bowling shoes someone a few lanes away drops his ball on his foot and yelps in pain. Is this really a computer game? Or, are you actually being transported through the space-time continuum to Ten Pin Alley?! Ten Pin Alley is an updated version of PCS Games's Ten Pin game, which was originally developed under the DOS operating system. This Windows version is self-voicing, so no screen reading software is required to play it. It features rich, authenic bowling alley ambiance and sound effects, an often sarcastic play-by-play announcer, and realistic bowling physics. Here is the demonstration done by Charles Rivard, from August 28, 2004. In the demo he says the game was from Adora Entertainment, the previous name for Draconis. Re: [Audyssey] My complaint about l-works games.
I also didn't have any problems when ordering Super Egg hunt. And of course, I saved the key immediately. But, back in 2007 or 8 when I ordered Judgment Day and Super Liam, again, I waited for months to get my keys. I remember I talked to Liam on the Zonebbs and I was also hard that day, but never done this publicly before. I think it's my previous bad waiting experience who made me so upset. I think the way to order Super Egg hunt is automatic and my opinion is that it's much better that way, instead of waiting. Now, if someone loses the keys like I did, it's another story. Re: [Audyssey] My complaint about l-works games.
I know it was my fault not to save the unlock keys with a back up, but I told l-works so when asking if I could have them back. If I was told I had to pay to get them again or get new ones, of course I would do so. But I was getting the positive answer that I will have them back. At least Liam could just tell me sorry, since you lost them I can't give them back to you, since yes, I repeat, it was my own fault. I learned my lesson well now. Re: [Audyssey] Pirate Memory Game and Q9.
Hi Ryan. Thanks very much for the demo set up. Unfortunately however, it seems that after installing, there is no place to enter my key in order to play the full version, while in other games, when installing the demo we are able to enter all necessary things to register. I don't remember if there was a patch for the full version of the game, since the only time I installed it was in 2007. The other issue, is that while the demo of the game installs and runs perfectly on my Windows 7 64 laptop, it's not in stereo. But this may be a soundcard issue. Since the klango site is no longer active, I don't think there is much we can do. It's a pity though, because it's one of the best games with much challenge and fantastic sounds, my opinion of course. -Original Message- From: Gamers [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of Ryan Conroy Sent: Tuesday, February 05, 2013 4:54 AM To: gamers@audyssey.org Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Pirate Memory Game and Q9. Re: [Audyssey] Pirate Memory Game and Q9.
Hi Dark. Thanks for your answer. Actually, I bought the game in 2007 and I have my key, but it's useless without the set up file to install. I have many set up files that I backed up especially for games I bought, as well as many of my product keys and licenses but I don't know how I left this one behind. Well, thanks very much anyway. Pirate memory game hasn't been on sale or download for about 7 years now and attempts to ask the Klango team about it's status have not gone anywhere, indeed I think the license type should probably be changed to unknown.
