Re: [Audyssey] Treasure hunt status?

2017-02-16 Thread Jack Falejjczyk
Firstly, what you're thinking of is Treasure Mania by Lighttech.
Second, treasure hunt, the bpc programs game, is not being sold, but
it will not have an official patch. Munawar doesn't have vb anymore so
there can't be a registration patch for the game.

The viruses will run towards the program no matter what, so what
you'll want to do is run to the right when the fight begins. Run to
the right until the steel data, then go to the left a few steps, then
walk one step right. That way you'll have a firing chance, though
you'll have to be good at rapidfire spacebar usage if you want to use
the knife. You can always get 150 bytes, head to the shop and get the
5000 reload for your laser's battery. Then the challenge becomes easy,
though note that if you want to get an achievement, I'd recommend
trying with the knife first. Hope that helps.

Re: [Audyssey] if not the cheat codes then maybe some file editing in TDV

2017-02-01 Thread Jack Falejjczyk
I'm pretty sure those save files are not easily editable. If you
really wanna change the course of the game, you should try using a
trainer program like Cheatomatic, or have a look at the sourcecode.
Generally though, I would like to know, you're not using the
afterburners in mission mode, right? Because if you are, that's a fast
road to getting your fuel used up before you reach the end of the
north0northeast course. You wanna be at around 684knots when in
mission mode. If you are in a fix with constant enemy fire, you can
temporarily escape it by going up to thin air, 5 feet or above to
be exact, though you should know that that is an unsafe altitude and
you should only stay up there for a few seconds to get away from enemy
fire, and then go back down to a safe altitude. Too much time up there
could result in your engine exploding.

Re: [Audyssey] Converting dosgames to windows.

2016-12-23 Thread Jack Falejjczyk
Yes and no. If you have 32 bit windows, you can technically run dos
applications natively, although they most likely aren't gonna run well
considering most of the games require a dos screenreader. 64bit is
simply out of the question. I'd recommend using talking dosbox to play
them. You'll get a real dos experience out of it, anyway.

Re: [Audyssey] WAAAAY Off Topic: Microsoft Speech Voices

2016-12-04 Thread Jack Falejjczyk
While this isn't exactly related to games, it's not completely out of
the park either, since after all sapi is an access method for games,
it's good to know what can and cannot be done regarding voices. I am
in no way a windows 10 user, but I know the speech server and the sapi
are completely different interfaces. Those voices you may see under
speech properties and not the settings screen probably mean that
they're strictly using sapi. I could be wrong, but that's what it
looks like the problem is.

There are timezones. There's a race every few hours every day. So what
you do is you go into the line, tell them your twitter or Facebook. I
don't think you need to be on the call all the time, but you should
give yourself a few minutes before the race to call in and type in
that conference code. After that, go ahead and play.

Sharon, you basically have the idea. You type your scores in your
social media each time you complete a level, and then you tweet or
post to facebook that you just made it to the finishline when you
finish the level. Also, this may not increase the call quality much,
but if you have a few bucks to spend on skype credit you might want to
try that, or you can win some for free by searching with Bing when
signed up to the Microsoft Rewards program.
Btw, registration and practice time are still open for a few more

Re: [Audyssey] Manamon: What's magic?

2016-08-10 Thread Jack Falejjczyk
Magic is any attack that isn't performed physically. For example, this
Flamia magic attacks or spells would include the sneer which lowers
the defense, fire breath, and focus which increases the strength of a
hit. Magic attack is how much strength your attack holds, and magic
defense is the ability to hold up defense against magic attacks. These
also have usage points, i e, the amount of times you can use each
attack. On all the Manamon, usage points, along with all other stats
that can be lost during a fight, will be healed at the hotel.
Although, later on in the game you'll notice that tamers will heal
your manamon before the fight and that typically means it's gonna be a
tough one.

Re: [Audyssey] The last messages from Thomas Ward

2016-03-12 Thread Jack Falejjczyk
Ok, I'm back. Haven't been on here for a long time, but just found out
the Tom Ward has passed away. Sad new in deed. Tom was a great game
developer, and were it not for his health I'm pretty sure he would've
very well been able to finish them. Also, he was an activate member of
the open source community of linux users, and he's actually the reason
I went ahead and tried ubuntu. As for William's comment about the
money spent for these games, might I remind you that whether the games
were finished or not, the money spent for them went into supporting a
game that could've very well been finished. Had Tom been still living,
there'd be two possibilities. The games would've gotten finished, or
if Tom had to close usa games, either the last build of the games
would be distributed, or refunds would be issued, whatever Tom wanted
to do. Either way I can't see how you can look at this news and say
where's my money, that's probably the most selfish reaction I've
heard. I didn't pay for any of the games since I wasn't made aware of
audio games till 2009, thus not around when preorders were taken. But
even if I did pay for them, I wouldn't regret it in the slightest,
even knowing that the games now are in the air as far as completion is
concerned. So rest in peace Tom, and hopefully someone somewhere can
pick up where he left off, and even if someone can't, we can at least
pick up his legacy by making more games in general, and even making
some for linux since that is not only something Tom would've wanted to
do, but would be a revolution for linux users looking for games.
best regards
Jack

Answer no to the question of do you want to go to blindsoftware.com.
Your product id is already on the clipboard, so go in the generator
and paste it in there. You'll get a key from it, so then register as
you normally would.

Assuming the generator copied the unlock code to the clipboard, all
you do is go to the register button in the register program, and hit
register. Remember, the game looks at the clipboard for your code.

Hey Ron. Might I ask, when did the tech support send you the keygen?
Was it recent? I'm just curious, because it'd be nice to get an
official statement on the distribution status of the bsc stuff,
because in the coming audio games archive, as of now we are only
distributing demos, which, as we all know, will be unusable when they

they upgraded their computer. So it'd be nice to get an official

[Audyssey] Im hosting a dragonpong server on hamachi anyone wanna connect?

2013-08-20 Thread Jack Falejjczyk
Hi all well, it looks like the first time we are actually talking
about dragon pong on the list? Lol. But I wanna let y'all know I have
a dragon pong server up. I can tell you it works, me and Dick, aka
Roelvdwal from audiogames.net have played a few games, but for some
reason I got disconnected from him a while back. So if you want to
connect, here is the 411 on it note you need to have hamachi installed
look at the tutorial on bipassing port forwarding on the dragonapps
website under dragon pong for a download link for it. If you already
have it. Just go to the network menu alt+n and go to join network and
enter this stuff.
name
a dragon pong server
password
dragonapps
now when you connect, stay connected for a while I may not be hosting
the actual game just yet but be patient I haven't even had breakfast
yet lol. But in the game enter this stuff
port
2620
ip
25.196.94.178
For those who haven't heard of this game, it is a game similar to
showdown/tabletennis it isn't actually showdown because sometimes when
someone serves or returns the ball the crowd goes nuts unlike in
showdown, and being Ghorthalon has powerups as well! It can only be
played online. However Mason made a kind of clone called mtg pong
offline version of dragon pong. But you won't get the same experience
because he tweeked some things and most of the sounds excluding the
crowd have been changed. Anyway, okay let me know when connected.
