[Audyssey] I just wish to unsubscribe-- can the list moderator help me?
Hello: This is Beto Escobar III, and currently, I am receiving E-mails from the Blind Gamers List Serve, as well as Audyssey magazine. I want to unsubscribe from the daily blind gamers list serve, but still keep my subscription to Audyssey E-magazine. Can this be done? If so, I will need the list moderator to manually take me off the list serve! I've attempted to unsubscribe, on several occasions, but I just have been unsuccessful in getting this done! As a result, I will repeat my request once again-- Would the list serve moderator remove me from the list? Thanks, Beto Escobar III ___ Gamers mailing list .. [Audyssey] I need some help!
Hey everyone-- I need some help. When I initially signed on to join this list serve, I must have typed in my E-mail address without the, "@" sign in my E-mail address. I found out about this recently when I went to the website, and attempted to change my settings to receive only the digest form of this list. I cannot change my setting because the website does not recognize my E-mail address with the @ sign in it! Not at the website, nor even when I click on the link on my Audyssey E-mails! ! Someone help me! Beto ___ Gamers mailing list .. [Audyssey] The Deep Link to Download WinFrotzTTS2002
I was informed, by the webmaster at Blind Gamers list serve, that many, if not all, of the E-mails I sent out regarding the WinFrotzTTS2002 Interpreter were not sent. Apparently they were too long! As a result, I am now sending a deep link, from the JAWSLite homepage, that has most of the information I wanted to send yesterday! The WinFrotzTTS2002 Interpreter is found at the very bottom of the list! Here is the link... http://www.jfwlite.com/programs.html ___ Gamers mailing list .. [Audyssey] Documentation to play the Infocom games on WinFrotzTTS2002
www.csd.uwo.ca/Infocom/ infodoc.plover.net/ In the WinFrotzTTS2002, all of the Infocom games can be played. As a result, all new blind game players, which have never even heard of the infamous Infocom, will need to catch-up on the history the company Infocom, and these games made. The first website has a page where Zork I, II, III can be downloaded free onto your PC. Now, to learn how to play all of these wonderful games, go to the second website, and read the links about Zork I, II, III. Once you go through commands the games use, you will be able to play each and every Infocom game. The first link is a website regarding everything about each and every Infocom game! Yu can find **everything** here to play each and every Infocom game from beginning to end. The second link is an incomplete library regarding the "original" documentation in each of the Infocom game packages. Believe it or not, but this is very important because Infocom tied in some of the game puzzles to some of the documentation in the game. This was a very effective way to stop illegal copying of the game. I wish to make it known, but reading these game docs is very important. I say this because after reading through the Beyond Zork game documentation, I found out if I typed, "mode" without the quotes, as soon as the Beyond Zork game began, I converted a graphical text adventure game into a complete text game. Typing "mode", without the quotes will convert the game back to a full text game in all of the graphical games Infocom sold. Converting all of the graphical games back to a complete text game is essential for all of us which use screen readers. As a result, if you get to by some of these newer graphical Infocom games, simply type "mode" without the quotes and it will revert the game back to solely text. At the conclusion of W. Scot Dillman's memo, found at the JAWSLite download page, I have some links; you can go to and purchase, "some" of the Infocom games today! You can also find links to purchase some of the Infocom games at the first link above. Have a lot of fun playing these wonderful games! ___ Gamers mailing list .. I have done some things to modify the updated WinFrotzTTS2002 Interpreter, WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF W. SCOTT DILLMAN. This is replaceing the Microsoft Speech Engine. The AT&T's Natural Voices is also a SAPI 5 compliant speech engine. However, make note, there are some stipulations your PC **must have** in order to use this fantastic speech engine. Contact the makers of the AT&T's Natural Voices at http://www.nextup.com for further assistance. Beto Escobar III ___ Gamers mailing list .. [Audyssey] The 4 WinFrotzTTS E-mails I attempted to send through the list serve!
Hello Everyone: I attempted to send through, this list serve, a long memo about the WinFrotzTTS Interpreter, with Text To Speech added on, for the blind PC gamer, and which will play Infocom games, as well as some links to get game hints, see Invisiclues, and complete walk through of each of the Infocom games. The sad fact of the matter was three of the four E-mails were kicked back. As a resut, this is what I am urging all of thouse who wish to play these Infocom games, once again, on their Windows based PC. I sent this very same memo to the JAWS Lite WebMaster which keeps-up the friendly applications page, for all JAWS users, and she informed me recently she put-up the memo so everyone can download this free WinFrotzTTS Interpreter which was specifically updated for the blind PC gamer. I will send, once more, , miscellanoues inforamtion about all of these games, where to buy some now, etc. They will be sent in three (03) E-mails. All will have the subject line: The WinFrotzTTS for the blind PC gamer 1 of 3 etc... Thanks, Beto ___ Gamers mailing list ..
