not as dumb as using the cd drive as a cup holder. Whilst we are on the subject of dumb things, I have had one instance whare someone asked if the mouse mat was compatible with vista/xp. Not the mouse but the mouse mat. It aint hardware, not even plugged in. And if it was what function would it serve anyway. Just thinking makes me laugh. You need drivers for your mouse mat else your mouse mat will not work. At 07:56 a.m. 23/03/2009, you wrote: >Hi, >Oh, are you sure his brain was powered on? I have the other issue with stuff. role updates and you have the uservote issue. they moan if you don't, they moan if you do there is a 50 percent chance they will like it or not and if not it usually means a load of hate mail at the admin in the form of shouting at said person so yeah I know what you are driving at. I think a lot of it in the older models depended also on how much you play, how much system resources the game took up, etc. I got my XBox 360 back when they first came out, so I've had it for quite a while, and the heat sync only just started going a few months ago. Twas an easy fix though, turns out the little clips that hold the sync in place had melted, so we just bought a repair kit and fixed it ourselves. The XBox, for all its publicity with errors and such, really is a pretty solid system. The only reason I prefer the ps3 over it is because the ps3 has the resources to do much more than the xbox does at this point, and because I have more games for the ps3. Just my opinion though. -- From: "Liam Erven" Sent: Saturday, March 21, 2009 9:40 PM To: "'Gamers Discussion list'" Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Lenses and controllers was Re: PS3 ControllerswasBloodmoney Online fighting Mines just fine. Others somehow get things rattling around inside. My friend has one like that - yet another friend says his r2 button sticks badly, and yet another has no problems. The first dualshock controllers were absolute tanks. They could handle anything. Now its just cheaply made, expensively priced (for what you get). Something like the lenns in the ps2. Some people have had luck with it, others have had no luck at all and got the dreaded Disc Read error, very very common for ps2.We'll see how the ps3 goes. From what I've been able to find, some ps3's have already experienced problems. Dating back all the way to the first ps1 released (made out of plastic that overheated very easily) to now, sony's build quality has decreased a lot. Well I have had a grandpa that had an issue with a printer, an old laserjet which I managed to solve. The guy just did not get it that after having to turn it off for 20 minutes and doodling with things that I had to search the net. He kept asking if he should throw it away. Even if that was the case I wasn't just going to chuck with out consulting someone else etc on it. If he had his way it would be a new printer and dump the other because its not working so it gets biffed. At 06:55 p.m. 22/03/2009, you wrote: >Nod they did fix the problem, so I hear.
