Re: [Audyssey] aliens in the outback
Hi, The billabongs are what get me evey time. Honestly...I'm driving a ship, somehow I don't get how some trees would do that much damage. I made it to level 6 once, I believe so anyway, and that's as far as I've gotten. I do think, Charles, that you're right, it seems wave 4 is harder than wave 5. I knowsomeone who beat JudgementDay on Ultra, and can't beat it on hard (Ryan, ifyou're listening). Well there's no really standard way of naming levels, some games have worlds, some waves, I've also seen mines, caves, dungeons, castles, parts, zones, areas, sectors, blocks, boards, floors, days, and even happy houses! Re: [Audyssey] aliens in the outback
Saying I identify sounds by colour is not actually quite right. it's more the sense that the way I experience sounds, indeed any sensations bar sight, is with a combination of colour and tactile sense. This goes for concepts and days of the weak as well. This is why I'm so impressed by good quality sounds and ambience because they improve the Graphics of the game. As to the happy houses thing, it was in a litle game one amigar Magazine put out for christmas calls psycho Santa. Naughty jack frost had stolen Christmas cheer from a village, and you had to bomb houses with presents from above while taking out various flying nasties (including giant rubber chickens and killer snowmen), with your deadly snow balls of doom! Each level was named happy house 1, make one house happy and reflected the number of houses you needed to drop presents on to complete the level. I believe it got up to ten before you finished the game. Beware the grue! Hi Charles, Yeah, I know that. My demo I have downloaded is the Draconis version. Comparing Aliens to Troopenum there are some really cool differences. The alien landers is by far the cooler difference. I also like the mutant sheep. However, one thing that makes Troopenum cool is the Gorbian attack levels. Charles Rivard wrote: It's available from www.draconisentertainment.com Not many changes have been made other than the posting of scores and a few sound changes.
