[Audyssey] Landing in Zero Sight Demo
Hi, I remember trying the demo version of the Zero Sight flight simulator a couple years ago, and getting extremely frustrated with the take-off sequence. Recently I tried it again, and was able to take off. Now I just have to learn how to attack, but right now I'm interested in landing the plane. I followed the instructions as far as lowering the speed to 200, setting the vertical heading to 350 with up arrow, and pressing G and F for the gear and flaps respectively, but I'm not sure what to do at this point. It took the computer quite awhile before it would say that I could land now, but even then I'm not sure how to touch down. I've also tried getting the co-pilot to land, but at the moment, and this is probably because of something I'm not doing right, he's not much help as he cycles from doing the landing sequence, then the take-off sequence, and finally saying he's right next to me. Does anyone have any ideas on how to proceed at this point? Thanks. Hi Kelly. Landing is difficult to get the hang of since you really need to reduce your speed incrimentally as you touch down. Fortunately, the chaps at zero site provided several tutorials on Youtube, links to them can be found on the Shard workshop site or on http://audiogames.net/db.php?id=Zero+sight I will say Zero site is an intentionally difficult game, but once you get the knack you tend to remember. Btw, I don't remember the game having a copilot. You got an escort who could shoot things for you and provide backup, but not actually someone to automate flying the plane, though it's been a while since I last played Zero sight. Fortunately, if I remember rightly actually attacking is a lot easier than taking off and landing. Beware the Grue! Hi Lori, There is know landing beacon sound. Its the solid locking tone you have to aline with. Read the documentation, that should help. [Audyssey] Landing in TDV
Hi I'm still having trouble landing in TDV. When Chase tells me to land I press page up for a few seconds then down arrow to slow my speed, but I iether end up running out of fuell or am told I'm too loose. Where am I going wrong? I get good results in the races, but then it's spoiled by the fact I run out of fuell and crash-land, am I pressing keys too hard or something? I know the burners use up fuel, so I only use it if I've got other aircraft after me. Does anyone have any audio recordings of how to land? Also in the statis menu I can't find how to check how much fuell I have left, I thought the safety instructions were supposed to be in the pocket of the seat infront of me? Frankly, I don't understand landing. I can't get my descent rate down to 100 feet per minute. That's way below stall speed. the landing sewquence would be better with some stuff added because now if you land it's a brief rumble and then you're in the main menu. if you would land and then break hard on t he runway, it would do to make it more cool. Hi. nod hammer the up arrow key. When you start to go off center, immediately tap the arrow key in the direction you need to go to get back to the center once or twice. Don't wait till you get close to the edge and hold it. you'll catch momentom and keep going till you bounce off the other wall and that hurts. Only press the arrow key a couple of times to move back to the center, and again do it as soon as you realize you're getting off center. Don't stop hitting the up arrow key when you tap the left or right arrow keys to move back to the center, and don't hold down the up arrow key. Hi Folks, Ok, I love the version 2 of Troopanum. But, there is one thing that is driving me crazy.
