HI
Is pinball also a type of sport game such as show down? It sounds as if
pin ball is a compilation of other games but you play these games using
a ball? A pack man table? I don't understand. Do you play pack man with
a ball?

Hi, Nicol.
Years ago there used to be a mechanical game called a pinball machine
which was built in to a table. You had two flippers, a ball, and the
object of the game is to use the left and right flipper to bounce the
balls in to bumpers to get points. Which bumper you hit determains your
score.
All pinball machines were basically the same in game play, but they all
did have different themes and different looking and sounding tables. For
example, one that was out in the late 70's and 80's was a KISS pinball
machine for the rock band Kiss that was at my local arcade.
When you made a high score you would here Kiss sing Rock and Roll All
Night and Party Every Day.
All of the bumpers were painted up with the faces of the rock band
menbers, guitars, and cool stuff like that.
There were all kinds of other tables like haunted houses, science
fiction themes, and well they looked and sounded different.
Anyway, what the pinball games from Draconis does is offer several
pinball tables that have themes like wild west, Packman, Socker Star, etc...

I suggest getting both. That way, you have 12 pinball tables rather than
just 6. The more variety the better. The sounds of both games is good.
I
personally like Pinball Xtreme better, but this is a personal opinion. To
start with, try both demos and see what you think. Keep in mind that
there
are great tables in each game that are not playable in demo mode. The
user's guide for each game will let you know what you are in for. Happy
  pinballing!!

Hello Richard. I'd personally get both. I say that because I have both.
LOL. But seriously, they are different in that the tables are different
mainly but even so, the way some of the game operation goes is different
as well.

I am currently trying out pinball classic and then I am going to try out
pinball xtreme but I was wondering : In your personal opinions, which one is
better? Classic is pretty good and like I stated I haven't tried xtreme yet
so I was wondering if I need to save up for both or just get one or the
 other. Thanks for the help.

Hi Richard,
Back when I was testing them both Pinball games were good. It really
depends on the tables you want. PBC has the Pac Man table which I really
liked, the Western pinball table which was also cool, and well you know
the rest of them. However, I think I liked Pinball Extreme just a bit
better. It had the Baseball table which ruled, and the Alien Outback
table was wicked.
In the end if you can buy both get both, and if not try them and find
out which sets of tables you like.
