[Audyssey] Sara help please.
Hi All, I can't open a lot of the doors on the ground floor on Sara. I also got past the caretaker once using the broom and the stunning spell. I also got the map and the extendable ears, but I can't seem to get any further, please help. Hi Lindsay: As for the locked doors there are a couple of things you can do. If you have the pen knife found somewhere in the basement, I want to say the kitchen, you can use it to pick the locks on various doors. If you don't have it you can always cast a spell to unlock the doors with your wand. Cheers! Hi Lindsay, Well, for one thing if you are on a broom the caretaker can't catch you. So if you have a problem with getting caught try exploring the castle while flying around on a broom. If you need to land to pick up items etc just keep your ear out for the caretaker. If you hear him coming get on your broom and fly away. Cheers! Hi lindsay. The best way to avoid filch is not to run too quickly, since you can always hear him coming and he's pretty slow. He also can't catch you if your on a broom, so if you find the nimbus 2000 broom you can use thatto fly over his head and indeed have to in order to complete the first stage of Sarah, though you equally can't pick up objects and move pretty quickly on a broom. beware the grue! Hi Michael, Well, while the game uses a lot of things from the Harry Potter books the game has it's own story line and only involves certain Harry Potter characters such as the ghosts, the caretaker, and other non-essentual background characters from the Harry Potter universe. However, in answer to your question timeline wise it takes place the summer between Order of the Phoenix and Half Blood Prince when Hogwarts is basically deserted and only running with the summer staff. Sarah Good breaks into the castle for a little fun, and ends up having her own little adventure inside Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Hi Josh, I decided not to add the patch to the full game download until I am finished with it. I got a few reports of minor bugs and one major one that I am working on. The major bug is the game crashes in the divination classroom that is off the seventh floor if you use shift d. I fixed this bug once and can not understand why it is back. It could be that there is too much magic in the room! When I get these bugs fixed and post a patch4 I will then add all the changes to the full download. Hi, About halfway through the download of the sara game the download stops. I'm using a dsl connection on a linksys wireless network with windows xp home and a dell computer. I ran into a few bugs that I could not work out easy in Sarah so I created a little test game to try different things out. I finished the little game Monday and have been trying to get it to David Greenwood since then. If he approves I will put it out as a free game. But I won't tell you what it is about until you tell me about your game. If my calculations are correct I will have to change a few things before I can release the next Sarah beta.
