PPV isn't all that expensive...if you order a day before the game it's only about $30 (tax, included). You'd probably spend about that much at Sam's and more than that with the Gator Club if you factor in the gas money. The game is being carried on espn360.com, which my local provider (Cox) carries for free, but I suspect it will be under blackout for me. However, since you're far, far away, it might not be blocked out. So, it's either free for you (if your ISP carries espn360.com) or it's probably cheaper than the PPV which my e-mail informs me is $34.99 + tax. We're going to try out the Palm Beach Gator clubs viewing party at JJ Muggs in Jupiter. Don't know what kind of turnout they'll have as there are several PB Gator club locations for viewing the game. The local Treasure Coast Gator club only has viewing parties for the big away games. PPV at home is not an option as the local cable company doesn't have it. Of course, I was one of the cigarette smokers back then, so I owe you an additional thank you. :-) As I'm sure many of the other members of this virtual Gator family can attest, there is something about living in enemy territory (Tallahassee for Mark, me, Leon, and Paula) that makes the Gator bond even stronger. One funny thing about living out of state is that I appreciate seeing fans of other SEC schools -- and I've seen my attitude reciprocated from UGA Dawgs, LSU fans, and many others. Living in Big 12 country, we believe these locals just don't know what REAL football is like. In fact, we have an SEC picnic before the start of the football season, which is usually very well attended. My LSU co-worker reported that, although quite small (6 people), the Vanderbilt contingent was the most impressive, as they had the best array of libations. :-) Please note, that the goodwill I feel toward SEC fans in Austin, I would not feel for fsu fans.
