Troy, that is awful news. It had to be planned. Used camping gear isn't worth much at resale, so they were after trailer. If they were just after the trailer, as I would expect, it may already be painted and out of state. Doc's idea could help replace the loss quickly. Keep faith alive. The problem is that Council has some insurance, but until they tell us, not sure if this is covered. Also the church we are part of has insurance, but not sure if we are covered. Right now we are working under the assumption we have no insurance, and if we end up with any, we will be happy for the help. We have an emergency meeting today to put together our list of needs, and wants, so we can prioritize our purchases, and place the donations that we are getting. Thanks for everyone's concern. I don't remember there being an "obvious bias towards John Brantley." If I recall correctly, Cam was second string as a true freshman. I also seem to remember that Cam was an incredibly inaccurate passer. Wasn't there even a joke out there that when he threw the laptop out the window, he missed the dumpster? I have been a gator for life, and attended UF. This has nothing to do with UF. I want to vent about something that happened today. I am the Committee Chairman for a Cub Scout Pack that my Son is in. Last night someone stole the Boy Scout Trailer from our church, and also broke into our Cub Scout trailer. It is going to be tough to put together our Cubaree this year. The Cub Scout Pack lost over 8,000.00 worth of camping gear, and the Troop lost all of their stuff, as well as a 2,000.00 enclosed trailer. I usually stay out of these kinds of conversations, but I liked and still like Cam. Were I in his situation, I probably would have left, too. Tim comes back for his senior year, and there's obvious bias towards John Brantley. The announcers said tonight he looks like a top-10 draft pick, and they're right. He's Tim Tebow with the "textbook throwing mechanics." Had he stayed here, he'd still probably be John's backup. What I really like about him too is that he's gone public stating he wished he could have stayed with the Gators. You know that can't be well-received in Auburn, and he wouldn't have said it if he didn't mean it. I hope he wins the Heisman.
