Re: gEDA-user: why some skip KiCAD and gEDA
A rating function for the documentations would be handy. I think this feedback is very important and you get an overview what is good or bad. Guess, the implemantation isn't tricky. best regards Felix ___ geda-user mailing list geda-user@moria.seul.org http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user
Re: gEDA-user: Linux Desktop für gEDA
hello Markus, I've also switched to gnome3, since it's shipped with Fedora. I hated it and now I like it. It's a complete new look and feel. Give it a try, learn the shortcuts. I do the most of my tasks with the keyboard and that's much better in gnome3 than in previous versions. I haven't noticed any problems with geda, yet. best regards Felix ___ geda-user mailing list geda-user@moria.seul.org http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user

gEDA-user: printing problem
hello, I use title-A3.sym and try to print this on an A4 paper (landscape). The borders on the left and right are missing, the same with the PS output. So I tried to make my own titleblock and noticed that it also not work, I think it's a ratio problem? Can someone help? In the archive is a discussion about this topic but all the solutions there not helped me. cheers Felix ___ geda-user mailing list geda-user@moria.seul.org http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user

One reason may be: Default printing option is something like All With borders (here Alles mit Rand). This should work fine. If you select Without borders your printer may have trouble to print very near to paper border. Preview with PDF viewer should be OK too in this case. All with borders (btw. bei mir heisst es auch alles mit Rand :) ), is the option whose borders are to wide for me. So I use without borders. Maybe I can decrease the size of the borders in gschemrc ? This would be a solution. cheers Felix ___ geda-user mailing list geda-user@moria.seul.org http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user
