Clutch now ignores the ReportingSchedule Wiki page and relies instead
on the tag in podlings.xml.

The documentation referring to ReportingSchedule has been updated, but
the page itself now needs to be updated to redirect users to
podlings.xml.

I don't have write karma for the Wiki so if someone else could update
the page that would be great.

Re: DOAP file for Apache JSPWiki (incubating)

2012-06-12 Thread Karl Wright
As I understand it, the doap files are for PMC's. The incubator is
the PMC here. That's why you don't get privs to modify files.txt,
because you are not the incubator PMC chair.

Which incubating projects have files.txt references to doap documents
that you know of?

S4 status (Was: [Incubator Wiki] Update of "June2012" by PatrickHunt)

Hi,

Thanks for the report, S4!

Is there some specific issue blocking the release? You've been
incubating for 1.5 years already, which is a long time without a
release. Quite a few podlings have trouble coming up with their first
release, so I'm wondering if there's something specific we could do to
make that task easier.

> +  3. Grow the community.

As you said, getting a release out should help with that. See also
some of the other podling review threads over the past few months on
general@ for a lot of good suggestions on how to encourage community
growth.

Re: June reports in two weeks

2012-06-12 Thread Jukka Zitting
Hi,

I'm hoping to complete the Incubator report by tomorrow evening (US
time). It would be great if we had all podling reports reviewed and
categorized by then.

Here's the list of all podling reports that still need review and the
shepherds assigned for them:

Benson Margulies - CloudStack, HCatalog
    Dave Fisher      - Bloodhound, Flume
Matt Franklin    - Bigtop, Flex, Openmeetings
    Matt Hogstrom    - Cordova, OpenOffice.org
    Mohammad Nour    - Kalumet

Please reply here if you don't think you'll have time for the reviews
by tomorrow evening, so someone else can take over.

BR,

Jukka Zitting

Hi,

@sebb: yes, the asfext:pmc entry is corrected

@karl: didn't know about any files.txt, I came accross with one DOAP file
while looking for Apache CMS site examples, and began to dig backwards,
ending up at both

Could you change the name entry as follows please:

Apache JSPWiki (incubating)

I know SIS and Stanbol don't do this currently, but those ought to be fixed too.

Right, files.xml is where you add TLPs, and technically JSPWiki is an
incubator sub-project at this time, so I don't think that's where you
add it. I'll defer to Sebb on the proper way of doing this in
incubator since he obviously knows more about it than I do.

Bloodhound - a shepherd's view

2012-06-12 Thread Dave Fisher
Hi -

Bloodhound required a little prodding to get their podling report done. The
project is still new to the incubator. Progress is being made. Work is being
done to make the project more attractive to new contributors. Also, a release
is being targeted.

New committers and PPMC have been added.

They realize that too much conversation occurs in the issue tracker (Bloodhound
is an issue tracker.)

I don't see any trouble.

Dave

Flume - a shepherd's view

Flume has passed its graduation vote. This sheep is sheared and heading to be a
TLP. Not much to add to this.

Agreed. There was some interest in Kato earlier when they finally figured
out that they don't need to wait for Oracle, but I suppose everyone with a
real itch to scratch had already moved to other things by then.

Ideally the podling itself would decide whether to retire or not, but if
there's nobody left to care, the decision is pretty easy also for the IPMC
to make.

If you like, you can also add a paragraph about this to the IPMC report
(simply modify the wiki page). Or I'll take care of it tomorrow.
