Wiki Access

2014-07-08 Thread Svante Schubert
Hi,

I'm a developer and an incubator PMC member and desire access to the incubator
Wiki.

Can somebody please give me (user svanteschubert) access to the Wiki (in
particular the incubator report [1]) so I am able to fill in the Apache ODF
Toolkit project podling report?

Thanks,
Svante

If there's a description of how this value is meant to behave, that
would help. Are new podlings the ones signed up with month w/ the
next 3 months specified? Who's responsible for clearing this?

New podlings must report monthly for the first three months of incubation.

Historically, I don't believe anyone has ever been officially assigned to
clear the monthly flag in podlings.xml. It's been whoever gets to it first
-- typically a Mentor, or often David Crossley or myself (and presumably
others who I haven't noticed).

With the advent of report_runbook.py, clearing all expired monthly flags
became part of the Report Manager's workflow.

For podlings that don't report, do they simply get monthly=true and
 next month as the value?

Yes, exactly. We give podlings who fail to report the monthly tag for one
month, over and over as many times as necessary, until they finally report.

Three most important issues to address in the move towards graduation:

  - Fixing issues brought up in our first release candidate

Date of last release:

  - No releases as of yet. We have created our first release candidate,

Shepherd/Mentor notes:

Brooklyn

Brooklyn is a framework for modeling, monitoring, and managing
applications
through autonomic blueprints.

Brooklyn has been incubating since 2014-05-01.

Three most important issues to address in the move towards graduation:

  1. Performing our first release under Apache
  2. Completing migration into the Incubator - largest task is
populating Jira with existing issues
  3. Growing a diverse community and PPMC

Any issues that the Incubator PMC (IPMC) or ASF Board wish/need to be
aware of?

  No.

How has the community developed since the last report?

A small number of new users have appeared, contributing posts to the
mailing lists, Jira issues for bug reports and suggested improvements,
  and a code contribution.

How has the project developed since the last report?

The boostrapping process is well underway, with active mailing
lists, website, and a burst of commit activity.

Date of last release:

  No releases under Apache yet.

When were the last committers or PMC members elected?

Andrea Turli and Sam Corbett have become committers and joined the
PPMC on 2014-04-01 and -02 respectively. Their committer accounts

So - one of the podlings did not file a report, but one of the mentors
did fill it in. Am I correct in assuming this would still count as a
missed report?
