2018-06-30 Thread Justin Mclean
Hi,

+1 (binding)

Please remove the md5 hash from the release area before releasing as these
should not longer be used.

I checked:
- incubating in artefacts name
- signatures ands hashes correct
- DISCLAIMER exists
- LICENSE is missing a license
- NOTICE is correct
- Source file have headers, but there a few shell scripts missing them
[1][2][3][4][5]
- can compile from source

LICENSE is missing license for the glyphicons-halflings font. [6]

Thanks,
Justin

Re: [DISCUSS] Doris Proposal

2018-06-30 Thread Jim Apple
Can you help me understand which portion of this document addresses the
discussions that occurred on the thread? The thread included discussion of

1. The name
2. Licence and copyright
3. Attribution (Tim's Impala patch that was copied without attribution)
4. Impala integration
5. Mentors and committer choices

I only see #1 and #5 addressed in the wiki page, with no discussion on #2,
#3, and #4. Am I missing something?
