sure, I use kmplayer the trick is, if you have mplayer (64 bit) also installed, then you need to make a symbolic link named mplayer earlier in your path so that it points to mplayer-bin instead. I have used mplayer-bin successfully for all wmv files. Just be sure to get the win32codecs.
