Doing the above device by hand, fixed the problem, but then, when I went to install Debian on a virtual machine, it just crashed. I guess 4.0.1 isn't stable enough. Hello, anyone using vmware? All I get is this all the time (I can't use vmware) VMware Workstation Error: Could not open /dev/vmmon: No such device or address. Please make sure that the kernel module `vmmon' is loaded. Press "Enter" to continue... vmmon|devfsd doesn't create /dev/vmmon. I think it is mknod /dev/vmmon b 165 10 But it doesn't work either.
